Live Performance | The World's Biggest Tea Party (Part 2) | Started: 2006 |
The crowd approves of the idea for a massive tea
party and after an instrumental of the song used when the idea was
getting created, Pinkie Pie and the ladybugs head off to tell the others
the news. It takes a bit for the others to understand what they're about
to do but it sinks in and Pinkie Pie adds a song to further explain it
with the others joining in. However, the celebration is cut short when
Thistle Whistle finds it hard to believe that they'll be doing the tea
party and everything included in a single day. Knowing they have their
new friends in the audience to help out, Pinkie Pie assures it'll get
done. Each pony goes around, singing what they agree to do for the party. When the song is over, everyone but Rarity has agreed to help out so Pinkie Pie asks her to get shiny and fun streamers and eventually Rarity agrees to get them. Of course, they also need the tea pot song so Pinkie Pie asks Thistle Whistle to perform it to the audience but Thistle Whistle isn't so confident. In fact, when they find Spike and the ladybugs still searching for Spike's How To book, Thistle Whistle admits she doesn't know how. Fortunately, after getting to know the ladybugs, Spike agrees to teach her. The 2nd time the song is done, Thistle Whistle joins in. By the third attempt, where additional music is added, Thistle Whistle believes she has the song nailed down. Meanwhile, things are coming together for the tea party as the invitaitons are there and as a result, another song begins that invites everyone, including the audience to the tea party. They're ready to send out the invitaitons but Minty arrives, unable to find the stamps while everyone else realizes where they are and giggles. The only problem now is there are so many to invite that they may not have enough invitations. This gives Pinkie Pie an idea for the world's biggest invitation to invite everyone. With that, the giant invitation is rolled out from above and the ponies sing their most recent song again. After an intermission (as hinted by Spike saying welcome back), Spike decides to share his knowledge of being at a tea party. To help reinforce the necessary behavior for a tea party, Spike sings a song about it. The song ends and now the ladybugs need to wear something special so they head off to Sew-and-so's Dress Shop. At said Dress Shop, Rainbow Dash cannot decide what to pick out for the tea party so Sew-and-so uses a song to share why trying a new color could be fun with the others joining in to help. The first half of the song ends and everyone realizes that everyone is beautiful as is so Rainbow Dash heads off, only to return with her own multi-colored scarf as the 2nd half of the song takes shape. |
