My Little Pony Tales Episode 25 Summary

Episode 25	Ponies in Paradise	Aired: December 18, 1992
At the ICS, Bright Eyes announces that she has been selected to meet a foreign exchange student for an entire week on Tropical Island. Melody finds it weird considering Bright Eyes will be spending a week with a family she doesn't even know. Each of the other ponies share their stories but Bright Eyes believes none of them. Bright Eyes arrives at Tropical Island but is afraid to come out when she sees the active volcano. She wants to go home but is pulled out of the plane and introduced to the family along with their possessions, then is taken aboard the canoe but she claims to be allergic to canoe rides beforehand. She continues letting the stories get to her, as she attacks what she later finds out is the father and is thrown overboard, then tossed back on board. She finds that the foreign exchange family has and does very similar things. She writes a letter to the rest of the group back home, then is taken on a hike to the volcano. Bright Eyes doesn't want to go as she once again remembers what her friends had told her. She is told there is nothing to be scared of (that's what they all say but at a volcano there is plenty to be scared of like falling in, the volcano erupting and of course falling down the volcano's slope). Bright Eyes falls into the volcano just as the volcano erupts and she is pulled to safety and taken back to their house. The group figures that both regular ponies and tropical ponies are very similar but have some differences. One of the foreign exchange student family members sings about it. The song ends as Bright Eyes' time at Tropical Island and Bright Eyes suggests that maybe her friend can be a foreign exchange student back in her own town. Her friend can't wait to do so.
