My Little Pony Tales Episode 18 Summary

Episode 18	Sister of the Bride	Aired: October 30, 1992
At(presumably) her house, Clover gets materials ready for Meadowlark's wedding. Meadowlark can't believe today's her wedding day and she sings about it. Afterwards, Clover assures that it will be a perfect wedding day but right off the bat sends the scrunchie into the air but Meadowlark catches it. She assures Clover that she's full of life and exuberant. The rest of the tales gang arrive and admire Meadowlark. Sweetheart finds it romantic about Meadowlark's bride Cheval marrying Meadowlark. Clover tugs on the bracelet, pulling the entire thing apart and scattering the pearls everywhere, nearly causing her mother to faint. Her mother suggests that Clover and her friends stay out of the way at least until the ceremony (which would be a good idea based on how Clover's making the wedding day turn out to be). Meadowlark gives Clover and her friends a list of things to do and Clover gives Bright-Eyes and Starlight the task of fixing the necklace while she and the rest go fill out the list's tasks. Despite the unfortunate mishap of Clover dropping the rings, they ;and right back on her front hooves as Patch adds that Clover is always lucky (well Patch if only you had seen her in "Out of Luck"). They see Cheval with another female pony and start assuming that he's marrying her instead of Meadowlark and, incidentally, hide in the flowers supposed to be delivered to Meadowlark's house. Clover instructs Patch and Sweetheart to deliver the flowers but when they do, Meadowlark's mother is in tears since the flowers are ruined. Patch offers to make a bouquet from their very own garden and Meadowlark is delighted, figuring Cheval will love it too. Sweetheart bursts into tears as Patch says Sweetheart always cries at weddings. Clover meanwhile goes to pick up the cake and finds that it's the exact same cake that Cheval and his other "wife" are interested in. Clover leaps into the air and destroys the cake, angrily yelling at Cheval and his other "wife", then goes off to tell Meadowlark herself that the wedding is off. She arrives and is followed shortly by Cheval and his other wife but they reveal that Cheval's supposed other wife is his sister, Suzette. Clover and Meadowlark's mother burst into tears but Meadowlark assures them they can fix the wedding with some help and that's what they get. In the end, the wedding is a complete success.
