Episode 14 Roll Around the Clock Aired:
October 2, 1992
Inside the roller skating rink, everyone is skating and Melody shows off for Ace, who boasts about being able to do her stunt blind-folded but completes the trick. Starlight is impressed at how good Ace and Melody are. Clover's clumsiness causes she and her partner to collapse to the rink floor but they find it fun until they see Patch and her partner, who jump right over them like a stunt ramp. Sweetheart and Teddy are skating and Teddy is trying to get Sweetheart do do a trick but both of them fall down.
nside the records area, Bright-Eyes struggles to maintain balance on skates and Bon Bon sees her and asks if they can be taken to the dance contest but before Bright-Eyes can answer, the phone rings but Bright-Eyes doesn't know how to stop but glides safely into Lancer. Finally she answers the phone, telling the "conversators" if you will that there are still tickets available, then mentions to Lancer that he can go skate now and gets literally wrapped up in the ticket roll unwound by Lancer. Bon Bon and her partner want to know where their tickets are and Bright-Eyes inches over to the booth and hands the two of them their tickets. Bright-Eyes sees Lancer skating, realizing that he's the better skater.

Ace and Teddy ask Lancer to have Bright-Eyes be his partner since she's without a partner as well but Lancer figures she'd be too busy. Later, on two different sides of town, the girls and boys discuss their plans with the soon-to-be skate partners Lancer and Bright-Eyes in song. When finished, neither skate partner is confident the plan will work but are pulled into the plan anyway. Back at the skate rink, the skate partners insist they want out but are shoved towards each other and struggle to strike up a decent conversation or put the plans they're participating for in action. Their consciences continue telling the partners what to do until both of them have had it and break apart.

Melody ponders that maybe those two weren't meant to be. Bright-Eyes finishes up handing out tickets, then gets the pile of records for the dance contest but spills them on the floor (some unbreakable records those are!) and Lancer is allowed to help. Both partners apologize for acting they way each other did and Lancer offers to help  Bright-Eyes learn how to skate but first puts on the music for the dance contest. The dance contest finally begins and one-by-one, the pairings get eliminated, except Bright-Eyes and Lancer, who win the contest and Bon Bon and her partner who forget it's roller skating contest instead of an eating contest. Ace and Melody don't understand since neither partner followed instructions (in terms of their helpers' plan) but Sweetheart thinks they're perfect after all and the winning partners decide to keep the trophy together.
