Episode 13	Blue Ribbon Blues	Aired: September 25, 1992
Outside, Sweetheart is chasing Teddy, who has her picnic basket. Teddy trips and the entire load of food is dumped into the river. Sweetheart angrily orders Teddy to retrieve the food but Teddy doesn't like the water. All Teddy knows how to do is make other ponies feel bad. Teddy says this isn't true and he knows plenty of other things like farming, which Sweetheart isn't buying it. Teddy says he loves farming and takes her over to prove it. At the farm, he tries to show "how it's done" but the hen bites back.  On his second attempt, Teddy manages to get the eggs but the hens remain angry and chase him all the way out to a pig pen, which Teddy slides into. Sweetheart finds the pig inside the pen to be cute and Teddy's friend (whose name I couldn't make out) says that the pig's name is Yorkie and is going to win a blue ribbon at tomorrow's fair. Teddy figures that the pig will get the prize for being ugliest and fattest. The father farmer announces it's harvest time and everyone takes part as he sings. When finished, Yorkie gets a bath and Teddy walks in. Teddy cares about Sweetheart not Yorkie. Yorkie splashes water on Teddy and Teddy hopes Yorkie loses and kicks the bucket onto Yorkie's head. As revenge, Yorkie enters Teddy's room and grabs his teddy bear but isn't able to take it before Teddy wakes up and the two of them tug until the bear is torn in two. The commotion wakes everyone else up. When asked if the bear was his, Teddy says it was for Daisy (who must be the younger sibling in the family). Sweetheart says she'll sew it up ASAP. The parents say they'll clean up in the morning and tell Teddy to go back to sleep (Clean up? The stuffing seems to have disappeared ENTIRELY!). Teddy thanks Sweetheart for keeping his teddy bear secret safe (contrary to what happened in "Shop Talk"). Teddy walks into Yorkie's barn and scares him right out the barn door. As morning approaches, the rest of the group walk in, wondering where Yorkie is and Teddy says he wanted to tell them Teddy's gone. Sweetheart questions Teddy whether he's responsible and can't believe she saw if this is Teddy's good side. The group race off to find Yorkie. Teddy's friend manages to hear Yorkie slide into the river and gets him back to solid ground but gets himself stuck and Teddy hears his cries. Teddy mentions that he's afraid of the water and his friend says there isn't anything to be afraid of (in this river, yes, but Mother Nature CAN  make water something to be afraid of). Teddy overcomes his water phobia and gets (Corny is it?) to safety. At the festival, Teddy manages to win a stuffed pig as a prize for winning the game and his bear falls out but Daisy claims it for herself. Teddy offers to trade the stuffed pig for his bear back and it takes some coercing but Daisy makes the trade. Sweetheart says Teddy has a good side after all but Teddy doesn't want her to tell and they climb into the back of the truck and head off.
