My Little Pony Tales Episode 4 Summary

Episode 4	....And The Winner Is....	Aired: July 24, 1992
The ponies are watching PTV to see who wins the tickets to the Cleveland Bays concert. Unfortunately, it was only Clover's dream and she overslept and will be late for school. While Ms Hackney teaches her lesson in the final minutes, everyone watches the clock for that final minute to strike 3PM. It does and some attack the cuckoo clock but miss and rush out the door as one exclaims to meet at her house for the drawing. Bon Bon can't wait to see who wins and nervously munches on popcorn. It's just like Clover's dream, which obviously no one knows about. Patch give the appropriate drum or hoof roll you might say and Clover wins. Clover excitedly dances around as the others cannot believe how lucky she is. (Well then they should see her with a teapot in a later episode.) The disappointed rest of the group leave as Clover figures it's hard being a good sport. The next day, the mailman(mailpony) arrives , figuring that Clover is expecting something important and hands her an envelope, which contains a letter from Dazzle, the PTV host and the two tickets Clover won. Now the only question is who to take and Clover can't decide. (Since there are 6 remaining friends, Clover, I'd suggest rolling a die and assigning the 6 remaining friends a number from 1-6 and the number the die lands on that matches the pony with the assigned number wins but that's just me.) At the ice cream shop, Starlight hands Clover a free, err, smoothie I guess you might say as an apology for being so harsh the other day. Later at the library, Melody literally pops in asking if she can go and after some thought, Clover sort of agrees. On the see-saw, Sweetheart tells Clover she doesn't mind that she's not going. (TBH, neither would I, concerts generally are filled with 1000s of screaming fans where you can't hear much if anything. I'd rather hear their music at home.) The rest of the gang are outside discussing who Clover really invited and once they see Clover, they race after her. They corner her under a bench, ordering Clover to explain. She does but none of them are all that happy so the gang decide to re-draw for the tickets with the help of Clover's dad. Coincidentally, Clover and Melody are picked from the bowl. At the concert, while Melody is having a blast, Clover isn't as she feels bad for the others. Melody agrees and they walk home. At home, the rest of the gang are trying to see Melody and/or Clover but no one can see them yet. The doorbell rings and it's Clover and Melody, who explain that they missed their friends and not only sold their tickets but bought pizza. As they watch their band perform, Bon Bon asks Clover if she still feels lucky and Clover replies that having friends like them makes her the luckiest pony ever!
