My Little Pony Tales Episode 2 Summary

Episode 2	Too Sick to Notice	Aired: July 10, 1992
At someone's house, a yellow pony with purple hair, revealed to be Bon Bon by, I guess, her younger sibling, who questions what Bon Bon is doing. Bon Bon is getting ready as her father is taking her to the cinema. Before Bon Bon can say another word, rather loud sneezing interrupts and Bon Bon goes to see what is going on. Bon Bon and her siblings peer into a room, where the source of the sneezing is from what appears to be Bon Bon's baby brother, whom, I will agree with Bon Bon's mother that those are rather large sneezes for someone so small. One of the siblings, dubbed as Amber by Bon Bon's father asks why the little brother is exploding but her father responds that he is sick. He says the baby pony will be fine but isn't so sure about his room. Can he still take Bon Bon to the cinema? Her father unfortunately has to cancel the plan and instead get the baby pony medicine. Bon Bon insists that her father promised but her father tells Bon Bon that he has to make sure the baby pony gets well. In another room, Bon Bon parks herself on the arm of the chair, requesting to have mother braid her hair. Mother tells Bon Bon that she can't do both and suggests asking Misty, whom I guess is her older sister. Bon Bon poses the same question, only to get it denied with practically the same answer. Bon Bon's "excess pleading" shall I say causes Misty's baby formula to be ruined and she now must start again. Bon Bon figures that maybe Rusty will play with her and finds him in a pile of laundry as he peeks his head out from the pile, scaring Bon Bon. Bon Bon, thinking it's a game, jumps into the pile, but is scolded by Rusty, who tells her that he's helping mother with the laundry. Bon Bon can't comprehend how one baby pony getting sick attracts so much attention and sings about it. As the song ends, Bon Bon gets the idea to make herself seem sick to get attention and puts her plan into action in the kitchen. Her parents, totally buying it, escort her to the couch. Her father realizes that he'll have to make a special trip to the store to get medicine for Bon Bon. Her mother questions to Bon Bon where exactly it hurts. Bon Bon cannot decide so her mother assumes she hurts all over. The phone rings and Bon Bon leaps out of "bed", then stops as her mother says to allow Misty to answer the phone. Starlight is on the other line, apparently asking to go to the cinema but Misty tells of Bon Bon's "too sick to go". Patch also calls asking to go roller skating and Misty repeats what she told Starlight. Melody calls and Bon Bon correctly guesses that Melody wants her to see a concert. Misty makes it seem more exciting than it really is, then again repeats what she told Patch and Starlight. Misty and Mother continue with Bon Bon's requests as Father arrives from the store, along with Rusty, both of which deliver Bon Bon her magazines. Bon Bon realizes that it's last month's issue and asks if Father can go back to the store. Father isn't liking that much, then is interrupted by seeing smoke. Bon Bon gets up to help but Father stops her, telling her they don't want her getting sicker. Somehow she escapes to her room and writes in her diary. Her parents discover her absence as Bon Bon explains how she wasn't really sick. Everyone else, however, becomes sick and Bon Bon is determined to make it up to them after she checks on the baby, who seems to be feeling better. The rest of the family places their requests on Bon Bon as the doorbell rings. It's the pink pony with yellow hair, who thought Bon Bon was sick. Bon Bon tells her she was but she's better now and just wanted some attention. Now she has all the attention she can get.
