Episode 60 Ice Cream Wars Aired:
September 18, 1987
At the nursery, the first tooth ponies are trying to feed the baby ponies but like most babies, the baby ponies aren't making it easy as one of the first tooth ponies gets a direct hit of baby food. Not even the other two baby ponies make it easy as their rough play with a duck sends a ball onto the head of another first tooth pony. As things progress, the first tooth ponies sing a song about their ordeal of babysitting. Even when it's over and they get the babies back into their highchairs, the babies refuse to eat and another bowl ends up on a head.
It's too much for them to deal with so they decide to take them out for a walk and ice cream. When they arrive, they discover there's no ice cream at all and the babies aren't happy to hear that. It's all thanks to the lack of production at the rival companies Rocky Ripple and Fudgy McSwain due to their current feud, even though they used to be friends. It's clear what the ponies must do and head off to set things right between the ice cream companies. They head to Rocky Ripple's shop and learn that Rocky is accusing Fudgy of being a thief over the very recipe he himself spent years in the making to plan.
They go to talk to Fudgy but he refuses to make up until he sees how upset the newborns are. They return to Rocky's and Fudgy makes it clear he couldn't have taken it since he needs Rocky to actually have a business. With that, Fudgy agrees to help look and it's enough to make Rocky happy to have him back. However, when the shop is reactivated, Fudgy gets a scoop of ice cream in his face and concludes the friendship was a ruse and reignites the war using Rocky's own shop. Worse still, the baby ponies end up on the converyor belt and are dropped in containers of ice cream toppings, much to their delight and the first tooths' horror.

Luckily, they get them back in their baby carriages just as Fudgy brings out a massive machine in hopes of dumping a large amount of chocolate syrup on Rocky. Each side continues to fight and it seems any efforts to stop it is futile. With no other choice, they head back into the ice creamless ice cream shop for cover. It's just as the shop owner named Baby Fifi feared, an all out war so she finds the ice cream tub she was saving for a special occasion and offers it to them. It's enough to calm them down but they also find Rocky's secret recipe.
It's proof that Fudgy didn't steal it so they head out to finally set things straight once and for all. Once outside, they see that the duo are on the verge of to total annihilation so one of them intercepts the attack with the recipe. They narrowly avoid hurting Baby North Star and now Rocky finally finds the recipe he thought was stolen. The duo finally hug and agree to resume production of their product right away. As a thanks, Rocky allows them unlimited free ice cream but they've seen enough ice cream for one day and want a salad instead, giving Rocky and Fudgy a good laugh.
