Episode 59	Flight to Cloud Castle (Part 2)	Aired: September 17, 1987
As the ponies and Garf edge closer to the cliff, Garf uses his magic to make the cliff more muddy and safe their lives. However, now they're back where they started and Garf cannot apply magic to the castle due to its magical protection unless he somehow got inside. Realizing that the two entities guarding the castle are polar opposites, Heart Throb suggests getting them to attack each other and the group agrees. They put their plan into action by corraling the castle into a narrow space. Locket and Twilight tease the salamander, leaving Heart Throb and Garf to handle the being with the trident. The beings attack each other and end up crippled while the group scurries inside. However, the castle's interior is a confusing labyrinth so Garf uses his magic to lead the way to Ariel, Garf's true love. It's not so easy navigating, even with the magic as Heart Throb falls into a hole but gets out quickly and now is fully believing Garf's previous warning. They reach the top just as the Salamander and mermaid (of sorts) rejuvenate themselves and also reach the top. Just as Garf is about to kiss Ariel, the Salamander and mermaid attack, leaving Twilight trapped until Locket frees her but the mermaid traps the trio in a tornado of its own. However, Garf gets an idea and moves directly in front of the mermaid to force the Salamander to attack it again. It works and the mermaid disappears again but only for a short while so the trio gets Garf to make the castle shake. Seizing his opportunity, Garf kisses Ariel and she awakens. The kiss also returns the mermaid and salamander back into humans, revealed as Ferdenand and Andrew, the guards for the castle. Luckily, she's not into either of them and walks out. Unfortunately, the spell wasn't even her idea and thus she isn't ready for love yet. Worse still, the castle is coming apart so they all must escape. Garf and the ponies escape but the castle is falling so Garf eventually makes the ground soft enough to prevent injury on impact. The others escape just as the castle fully collapses but now Heart Throb realizes that Garf's protest was justified and also shares his anger. However, Garf and Ariel head out, considering that it's certainly possible they'll be together and everyone says their goodbyes before going their separate ways home.
