My Little Pony 'N Friends Through the Door Summary Part 1

Episode 49	Through the Door(Part 1)	Aired: November 18, 1986
Up in the skies, Lofty, North Star and Paradise have decided to go exploring and try to assure Lofty that it's an exciting idea to explore the unexplored. As if on cue, they find a mysterious door ahead and land to check it out. A sign notes for them to stay away but North Star concludes it isn't meant for them. North Star just can't seem to stay away, evem when they warn what might be beyond it so Paradise shares the story of the Golden Door, the one that could be before their very eyes and could be hiding the monster sealed behind it many years ago. Paradise has had enough excitement and heads off but North Star still can't stay away and doesn't listen to Lofty's warning. However, the door reveals nothing exciting at all so North Star shuts it and the duo fly away. Suddenly the door opens again and an arrow shoots out and lands in a tree, nearly missing the two of them. Furthermore, Robin Hood comes out in a friendly manner followed soon by his Merry Men, which aren't so cheerful when they learn Lofty and North Star don't have what they're looking for. Robin Hood figures a vacation would do everyone some good and invites the others out. However, the beast behind the door is also threatening to exit so Hercules promptly closes it in time. Lofty and North Star figure they could be referring to the beast Paradise warned about and decide to let everyone know about the ordeal. As things seem to be crumbling around the door, Paradise has met with Heart Throb to pick flowers and both are unaware of what's happend. With Truly wanting true love, Paradise sings a song about her future true love coming with Heart Throb joining in as the song progresses. The duo are surprised to see Prince Charming himself and he's in love with Heart Throb, whom has been nowhere special. Nevertheless, he doesn't stay in love with her for long and goes to Paradise next. Paradise doesn't quite share his desire so he moves to Galaxy, whom has no interest in him whatsoever, even though he races after her. Inside Paradise Estate, Hercules finishes cleaning the room and they all can agree a clean room is a good thing. While he cleans up elsewhere, Chaherazad teaches the baby ponies the dance of her place and era and the ponies seem to master it rather well. Further away, Lickety Split, Buttons and Wind Whistler are about to have a picnic but Lickety Split is worried about rain so Buttons gets out her magic lamp Aladdin gave her. Lickety Split considers the trade a trick but a genie appears from the lamp and is ready to grant their three wishes. Lickety Split wants perfect weather but the genie needs more information first and is in a bit of a hurry. While the genie continues bombarding them with options, Robin Hood shows off his archery skills by nailing multiple bulls-eyes. Now Lofty is having regrets about opening the door, even when North Star assures things are fine. Heart Throb meanwhile has taken to the skies in search of Prince Charming but the door is open and the beast is about to emerge.
