My Little Pony 'N Friends The Return of Tambelon Summary Part 4

Episode 31	The Return of Tambelon (Part 4)	Aired: October 23, 1986
The ponies are having regrets but it's Danny's fault for trusting Drog. Megan assures it was a risk worth taking but they only have a few hours before midnight and Galaxy figures the bell is very important. However, Brey shoves Drog in with them, calling him a traiter, leaving the group to realize Drog didn't trick them after all. Furthermore, Drog notes that the other Troggles told Grogar of his plan and that's why they were captured and most of the Troggles would help them take down Grogar if they were given a home in Ponyland. The group agrees but still can't escape the dungeon to tell the others. Meanwhile, Bre reports to Grogar the good news but doesn't like the thought of having those not celebrating be banished with the ponies. Bre agrees and heads off while Grogar initiats the spell that will do in Ponyland for good as there's just thirty minutes left. Back in the dungeon, the group hear laughter but Drog notes that it's only a ruse to follow Grogar's orders. One pony flies up and finds fresh air but the crack is too narrow at the moment. Danny tries eating the food they've been given but would rather use it to widen the crack than actually eat any more. Megan gets a plan together by having Buttons maneuver the food into the space in hopes of causing the crack to widen but Buttons wants some extra space in case things don't go as planned. Buttons is successful but now Fizzy must make the food bubble. Fizzy gets to work and after several seconds, is successful, though they end up having to dodge falling debris before a few of them escape. The trio head off and manage to disable Bre long enough to snatch his keys away. Bre is too dizzy to give chase but realizes Grogar won't be happy when he finds out. Megan unlocks the door and lets them out but with midnight approaching, they must hurry. Bre gives Grogar the bad news and Grogar attacks him in anger, threatening to put Bre in the dungeon should the ponies escape the city. Elsehwere, the other Troggles celebrate, especially when they learn the ponies are free and now make their move to escape too. Megan promises the Troggles freedom if they can help stop Grogar. Grogar reaches a balcony and attacks with 10 minutes left until midnight, leaving Spike and a few others unable to proceed. Spike's words give Paradise an idea. They must ring the bell to destroy Grogar's power. As Megan and North Star head out, the group sing to keep their spirits up. The duo find the bell and ring it, causing the bell on Grogar's neck to crumble. The group manages to escape just as Tambelon starts fading away. Grogar and Bre are back with Tambelon, unable to escape. The group celebrates before returning to Paradise Estate. Drog figures they'll enjoy being here but it's hard to fathom that Grogar is truly gone. Megan figures that they won't be seeing Grogar anytime soon but Spike has to see that to be true one last time as Gusty and Ribbon have unwittingly taken the shape of Grogar's shadow but the fog clears and Spike sees otherwise.
