My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 7 Episode 12's Summary

We find Fluttershy and Discord at Fluttershy's cottage for a tea party and as usal, Discord makes the event more than typical with his antics. When Discord asks for another sugar cube, Fluttershy agrees, only to find she's out and has to run to the market anyway to restock. Discord hadn't realized how much was involved with a tea party and uses a copy of himself to come up with an idea. His copy gets the idea but Discord throws him away to take the idea anyway. Fluttershy isn't so convinced he can handle it but is exciting when he assures he can (while dealing with a mess on his, er hands). The excitement has Discord unable to wait a week and makes the tea party for the very next day. Unfortunately, Discord has never hosted a tea party before and rushes off but not before dealing with the mess from the running water. Outside, Discord uses his copy to help but has to convince him after the escapade with the black hole from earlier. An elderly pony gets caught in the middle before Discord heads off to the tea store. There, he learns it's exactly where Fluttershy gets her tea but isn't satisfied with the tea the clerk recommends. At last, he finds a tea he's interested in buying but only after a slight modification that has the clerk unconvinced that he's friends with Fluttershy. Next stop is the teapot store and once again, Discord has to admit his friendship with Fluttershy. Regardless, the clerk gets a tea set worthy for two but Discord has to modify it too before making his purchase. At the party store, Discord has trouble finding the right supplies, even with his modifications. Luckily, Pinkie Pie happens to be passing by and he enlists her help. It proves to make the process much simpler and Discord simply checks out with what he's already chosen, leaving Pinkie Pie to take up on the modified napkins. Back home, the items are running rampant, or otherwise behaving oddly as Discord wonders how to make his place more comfortable for when Fluttershy arrives. Left with a dilemma, Discord calls on his copy and learns just how grim the situation is. In fact, it's so chaotic that Discord enlits more copies to help clean things up. With the house cleaned up, Discord still needs a makeover himself and tries out a variety of different outfits before finally gets the right one. At last, things are done and without a moment to spare as Fluttershy is here. However, once inside, Fluttershy is surprised at how normal the house is. In fact, she's disappointed at the lack of anything unusual. Fluttershy wonders what's going on and Discord loses the use of his right hand as he finds out when he tries to pick up the teapot. Worse still, he's fading away all over as Fluttershy discovers and that has her quite worried. Each time Discord tries to continue being normal, Fluttershy gets even more panicked as Discord fades further away and instructs him to do something chaotic. Unfortunately, Discord's faded away enough that his ability to use magic has gone completely, leaving Fluttershy to try by herself. When none of her ideas work, Fluttershy decides to make a bunch of mirrors using shiny objects so that she act more like Discord himself. It's enough to give her some ideas and her work improves Discord's appearance. Eventually, Discord gets his magic back and helps out. It's what Fluttershy had hoped to see and notes that she loves him for being so different to herself (and that's the opposite of how friends are made as you're looking for similar interests). With things as out of control as expected, the duo finally have their tea party
