Episode 143	To Where and Back Again (Part 2)	Aired: October 22 2016
As the group gaze at the structure, Discord had intended to get them inside by now but is willing to try again, even without the recommended idea of a plan. Thorax has something to say but Discord isn't interested, still feeling overconfident about himself and less confident Trixie will be of any use at all. Discord uses his magic to demonstrate his superiority but finds that it just vanishes when he attempts to ride his pig away past the cliff. In fact, Thorax had been trying to explain that no magic works beyond changeling magic. Sure enough, Starlight finds out for herself but has no idea what to do about it given that they don't have magic to help. Since no one else has any ideas, Starlight asks if destroying the hive will get their magic back. When Thorax confirms this to be true, they decide to walk over there and have no interest in Discord's bickering. Of course, it'd also help if they remember that they're not being held captive so Discord suggests a secret code and topples over, leaving to a more desired secret code that only Discord disapproves of. With changeling guards blocking the main entrance, Thorax helps his group find the back way in but the hive proves to be more complex as entrances and exits are constantly  changing. As they move further inside the hive, Discord and Trixie get into an argument regarding their flaws thus far.  Starlight breaks the feud as she'd much rather they work together given her stress level is already high enough as it is. Unfortunately, she doesn't know what to do next and couldn't even handle what to say the Sunset Festival. Worse still, Thorax has no idea where they are, though while Changelings never stop feeding, Thorax figures he just forgot about it once he made friends and it may be about the same time where his wings changed. Discord is more interested in finding Fluttershy but announces it so loudly that the other changelings hear him and begin to swarm. They need a plan and Trixie's next statement gives them one.In fact, Trixie stays back to keep the changelings at bay with her smoke bombs. When the changelings depart down below, The real Trixie pops up after Discord makes a comment about the end result while the Trixie copy is revealed to be Thorax himself. They arrive outside the queen's lair (presumably) and need a distraction so Discord takes up comedy while the others are successful to get inside. Discord's jokes don't go over well and the changelings give chase but quickly lose him when he dives to the left. Now Discord just needs to find Fluttershy and a sobing gets his attention to her sitting inside with a rock trapping her. Discord almost falls for it but realizes that it's too easy to find his best friend this way and concludes  it's not the real Fluttershy.  However, there's more than one and each one tries their best to convince Discord that they're the one he's looking for and is left unable to think of anything to do. Just feet away, Trixie is already beyond nervous and they still need to know what to do next when Discord appears before them and leads the way. Not willing to trust this Discord, Trixie comes up with a plan and tricks the Discord copy into being held captive while the other two run. The plan backfires as while Trixie reveals that it is a changeling, it's not the only one and they swarm her. Meanwhile, Thorax and Starlight go different directions to avoid capture. Starlight manages to find the area where the others are being held captive but Queen Chrysalis has been waiting and is in the perfect position to capture Starlight with ease and does so. Nevertheless, Starlight has confidence in Thorax but Queen Chrysalis despises that name but vows to make sure he pays for his betrayal. However, Chrysalis easily finds him as Starlight was him in disguise. The real Starlight is busy feebly attacking the throne but Queen Chrysalis attacks in retaliation but is all too proud to reveal why she's done this in the first place.  Starlight sees the problem with having to continuously feed but Queen Chrysalis refuses to accept it and makes Thorax the latest victim in her plan. As Queen Chrysalis starts draining Thorax of his love, Starlight tells him to give all his love to her. Thorax agrees to it and undergoes a transformation that Starlight uses to show the results of giving love. The other changelings join in and transform as well while also freeing everyone Queen Chrysalis had captured. Twilight isn't fully aware of what happened and gets filled in before Queen Chrysalis rises from the rubble. Starlight once again tries to convince her and Queen Chrysalis slowly puts her hoof out before swatting Starlight Glimmer's hoof away and takng off, vowing revenge on her in the future. Celestia looks forward to how things turn out with Thorax as he leads the changelings but suggests they let the changelings be a while, letting Discord invite everyone for tea at Fluttershy's cottage. Starlight Glimmer has a better idea and returns to the old village where the others are surprised to see her after leaving so early. After explaining what happened to cause her to leave, Starlight agrees to help out while Discord admits Trixie had some at least decent tricks up her sleeve, then makes sure flying pigs exist to make Trixie keep her word. As the Mane Six look on, they realize they'll need some blanks filled in on what they didn't get to see.
