Episode 121 On Your Marks Aired:
April 9 2016
At their clubhouse, Apple Bloom calls their first post cutie mark meeting but Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are too busy admiring their new cutie marks to even notice. Apple Bloom snaps them out of it and decides they should go out and do something. They like what they've suggested but Apple Bloom somehow thinks it's all to obtain the cutie marks they now have and has to be reminded that they've past that point already. They look at the list but assure they did plenty that didn't involve getting their cutie marks.
However, their memory proves otherwise as everything they did involved exactly that and now they need to figure out what their group actually does. They remember that their marks allow them to help others with their talents and head off. They find Big Mac with a cart of apples but Big Mac is perfectly happy as is, until the trio make him dump the contents on the ground. Try as they might, they aren't successful finding anyone with a cutie mark problem. They end their search at the swing set outside their school and are puzzled at  their ordeal.
Luckily, Bulk Biceps overhears them and shares his problem but is puzzed at their facial expressions. They take him to their clubhouse but find it's a very tight squeeze. Bulk has found that he's run out of dumbells to lift so the CMCs suggest lifting other objects, then teaching others about it when that pile runs out. With that, Bulk heads out, but not before making a few holes in the floor. Apple Bloom isn't so thrilled because the problem seemed too easy.
Worse still, they may never find another problem and thus won't have a reason to exist (well you are here for comedy purposes after all so that's not true). Furthemore, now they can do whatever they want but none of them can agree on what that is. Regardless, they head outside to Scootaloo's lengty skateboard track but only Scootaloo has the confidence to navigate it. They head to Rarity's boutique where Sweetie Belle teaches them basic singing but the song they'll evnetually be doing is far more advanced.
They give it a try but only Sweetie Belle has the melody down so they head to Zecora's to make a simple potion. Apple Bloom naturally gets an apple to grow but the other two end up having it literally blow up in their face. They meet back at their clubhouse as Apple Bloom notes additional problems. Scootaloo suggests they not do everything together and has her own desire to bungie jump, just as Sweetie Belle has always wanted to croquet but Apple Bloom has never really had anything in mind she'd wanted to do on her own.
Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo head off, figuring that Apple Bloom will eventually find something she's always wanted to do, and they'll meet and discuss their day's activities later. Unfortunately, Apple Bloom is too down to think of anything and begins a song as she travels to do different things in Ponyville. She ends the song and parks on top of a short bridge just in front of a ballet school. She ends up close enough that she can hear the teacher reciting ballet numbers and decides to interrupt them to ask about joining.
Luckily, the teacher is willing to let Apple Bloom show what she can do and take part in the performance to replace Tendertaps, whom is too shy to do it himself. Apple Bloom starts off managing to get the hang of the dance routine but cannot seem to take the lead and stay in harmony with her partner, and sends everyone into a giant pile on the floor. It's enough proof for the teacher to conclude that perhaps Apple Bloom is better off as a solo dancer. Apple Bloom heads outside in defeat and Tendertaps  walks with her to note that it's not all bad being a solo dancer and shows a few of his impressive dance moves.
None of the moves impress Apple Bloom and she walks away in disappointment but doesn't forget to wish Tendertaps luck in the performance, even if he's too scared to perform in front of an audience. The duo go their separate ways while Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle return from their activies with delight and head inside. However, a jealous Apple Bloom is waiting for them and they are left puzzled at the scenario. They thought Apple Bloom would've found something fun but when Apple Bloom turns on the lights, they see the massive amount of things she did without any fun resulting from any of them.
Apple Bloom had thought the three of them weren't hanging out anymore but they just didn't want to do everything together. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are in shock over what they've heard but Apple Bloom notes of the pony she met at the dance lesson and realizes that he may not have a cutie mark. At the performance, a duo is dancing when Apple Bloom and the others arrive to find that Tendertaps is there watching but she's too loud and they take their discussion backstage. Regardless of the audience size, Apple Bloom is willing to join Tendertaps on stage given that he'll look better than she will.
Tendertaps remains nervous, especially since the things he needs aren't there but the CMCs agree to help with that, which isn't reassuring news either. Scootaloo quickly bungie swaps the old and new backgrounds before Apple Bloom takes to the stage, but it takes longer for Tendertaps to actually join her. Even when Apple Bloom gets the routine started, Tendertaps is frozen in fear so Apple Bloom continues until she falls off the stage, giving the audience something to laugh about. Since Tendertaps can't be any worse, Apple Bloom eventually gets him to dance for the crowd and the crowd loves it.
Furthermore, he gets his cutie mark, making him dance with delight. Afterwards, Tendertaps talks to the CMCs about his happiness and thanks them for helping him overcome his fears. Apple Bloom only wishes she'd found out about his problem sooner instead of sulking around. Tendertaps hopes she keeps dancing and Apple Bloom figures she will as she can only get better.  Had they not gone out to do their own things separately, Apple Bloom may never have gotten to find out what dancing was like and perhaps they can use their new skills to help others, not to mention improve their odds of finding ponies in need.
The one thing they do know is that they're now better Cutie Mark Crusaders than ever before.
