Episode 108	Brotherhooves Social	Aired: October 3 2015
At Sweet Apple Acres, Granny Smith and Big Macintosh are searching for something in the pile of boxes with no luck as Applejack and Apple Bloom play outisde. While searching, they knock a box over containing an item that was one of Apple Bloom's favorites but she needs to find that ribbon and resumes her search while Big Mac decides to take it for himself and walk away. GS just needs a bit more help reaching a box but falls through the box containing the blue ribbon she'd been looking for. Outside, AB and AJ continue playing and AB compliments AJ on her overall positives without much notice of Big Mac. At last AJ gets AB to see what Big Mac has to show her but doesn't have as much excitement over it as she used to and resumes playing while AJ talks to Big Mac, whom downplays how he feels initially. Howver, things are cut short when AJ's cutie mark summons her for what turns out to be no false alarm. As a result, AB darts off, having had her excitment crushed. Big Mac agrees to try and cheer AB up but not even breakfast can cheer her up. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle arrive to invite AB to take her anyway as the social has always had loose definitions regarding sisterly bonding. It's not enough to cheer AB up but she decides to go anyway. As a bonus, Big Mac gets an idea but isn't so keen on sharing it right away. At the social, Scootaloo and SB are excited but are puzzled about AB not being there. AB arrives with news that she's participating after all but not because AJ has returned, revealing that her "cousin" Orchard Blossom has arrived to help. However, Scootaloo and SB catch on and realize whom it really is but OB is quick to make "herself" more convincing with a compliment to SB. When she approaches the registration counter, the ponies there are in shock but RD is suspicious about the ordeal so OB brings up their lack of a relationship and the duo head off. AB cannot bare to watch as his brother is found out but learns the exact opposite as they're able to compete. With the previous duo done with their routine, AB and OB are up next and AB hopes OB has the lyrics of their song nailed down but OB isn't worried at all and they begin. Things go well unti the very last words as Big Mac reveals his male voice and leaves the crowd confused. Regardless, OB plays off the ordeal as needing a glass of water and heads off so they can partake in their other events, which don't go as well. They still have the race and AB is having doubts but OB wouldn't be a quitter and will help AB get the blue ribbon this time around. The runners line up at the starting line and eventually get racing but AB and OB start to struggle as the race progresses and eventually OB is too determined to win and wrecks the very obstacles meant to be jumped over. AB and OB win but their secret is exposed as the registration ponies had known all along but because of the damage to the obstacle course and the other racers, they are disqualified. As a result, Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash take first place, leaving AB in deep regret about not waiting until next year to compete with Applejack. That evening, the duo briefly chat about the events before Big Mac shares how AB used to be and how he felt regarding AJ's status as a hero. Big Mac has regrets and would rather be left alone but AB isn't going anywhere as she can look up to him. He'll do crazy things if it means AB can get what she wants. The two of them had been holding back regarding their feelings. Big Mac is a hero to AB and always will be. They learn Applejack is home but would rather spend some quality time with each other (not to mention I don't think they'd want to share their disqualification in the events) and Big Mac shares how OB would remark on the sunset before them.
