Episode 109 Crusaders of the Lost Mark Aired:
October 10 2015
At their clubhouse, the Cutie Mark Crusaders need ideas for how to get their cutie marks but Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle feel they're all out so Apple Bloom sings a song on how they can improve. When it's over, they all feel like they can do better when Pipsequeak arrives, requesting they be his campaign managers for the election. The trio agree and escort Pipsqueak outside where he puts his vows up to the rest of the class.
The crowd approves except Diamond Tiara finds the suggestion ridiculous and offers to have the window done differently, especailly since her mother Spoiled Rich is head of the school board. Silver Spoon notes of the pending statue of DT herself but it was something DT wanted to share once she'd won and is not thrilled that she wasn't the one to announce it, nor does she need the kind of help she's getting. AB interrupts to note that they don't need any more of DT and an argument ensues whereby Pipsqueak and DT trade claims to swing the voters.
The CMCs further attempt to convince the voters with another song but DT interrupts throughout with her own song to manipulate the votes. The ponies start voting and when DT isn't getting all the votes, she adds additional threats and once again shows no respect for her best friend. The votes are tallied and to DT's surprise, Pipsqueak has won but the CMCs are still markless and DT needs to see for herself that the results aren't in her favor.
Sure enough, she has a look and everyone outside hears her disbelief as not even SS voted for her (and rightfully so). SS would tell DT how victory could've been achieved but notes that she isn't allowed to speak. With that, DT expends energy in frustration before walking off and finding her mother whom does not see the face of a winner and scolds her for how things could've turned out. It's enough pressure for DT to start a song (and my favorite of the episode IMO).
By the time the song is over the CMCs are having mixed feelings about actually feeling bad for her (I know that feeling given that up until this point she'd been nothing but a jerk to everyone). They agree to help and after school the next day, the invite DT over to their clubhouse. With nothing else to do, DT regretfully decides to tag along. When they arrive and DT sees what the CMCs do in their spare time, she considers them lucky for having so many options while she herself is already locked in.

Despite her claim that she's fine, the CMCs already know otherwise but when they go to propose helping her, Pipsqueak's cries interrupt them. They rush outside to learn that not only is Pipsqueak's playground upgrades not approved but they don't have the money to fund it. The CMCs agree to help but DT already has her own idea and darts off to be possibly reinstated. A chase (and a song) ensues as the CMCs and DT go back and forth with their reasoning but DT remains firm and darts away from their suggestion.
She arrives but before she can make her announcment, her mother arrives, scolding her for socializing with the "low-lives". DT gathers up the courage to decline her mom's request and requests to give a letter to their father. Her mother agrees and walks away before DT thanks the CMCs for what they've done and the letter in question was to donate the money for the playground equipment. In a sort-of reprised version of her earlier song, DT builds up the hopes of everyone using what she heard from Pipsqueak and the CMCs' election.
As the equipment is brought in, DT enlists in those whose properties will help and now DT will do what's right to be the pony she wants to be. The CMCs realize that their time off from their search has helped others get their talents and they agree to devote their time to continue helping others. It's enough for the three of them to start glowing and rising into the air. Once back on ground, everyone is in awe over the trio's new cutie marks and the CMCs jump for joy when they find out for themselves and break into a reprise of their initial song.
They take the others into town where Pinkie Pie gets a cutiecinera party going once the CMCs' families give praise. Back in their clubhouse, the trio consider their new marks worthwhile and recall the events leading up to the present.
