Episode 107 Made in Manehattan Aired:
September 26 2015
In Twilight's castle, Twilight flips through books but is unable to pick one out of sheer boredom. Rarity calls her attention only to reveal that she and Applejack have been summoned by the map without her. The duo will be heading to Manehattan, a place Rarity has always wanted to re-visit. Applejack doesn't see why she has to go but Twilight figures that the map has concluded that Applejack and Rarity are best suited. All of Rarity's excitment leaves Twilight left out.
There's at least three times the ponies there and Rarity is looking forward to the fashion district. Unfortunately, this trip means they're missing out on the Sisterhooves Social and hope that their daughters won't be too disappointed. They arrive safely but while Rarity is all over the environment, Applejack is less than thrilled with how fast ponies move. Even crossing the street proves to be a challenge for her as Rarity and others dart across.
Applejack gathers the courage and starts across but runs into everyone crossing along the way. Once across, Rarity finds a fashion disaster as a mare purchases a large hat and manages to find a better one at no charge. Though Rarity thinks their mission is done, Applejack feels it's not where they're needed, especially since their cutie marks didn't glow to summon them back home. Worse still, the hat salesman notes that Rarity cost him a paying customer.
They resume their search but neither of them is having no luck identifying where they're needed until Rarity finds a newspaper ad mentioning her old friend Coco Pommel, the pony that Rarity had helped deal with Suri Polomare. They meet up with CP and learn what the outdoor play is all about and what has become of it and the residents here since. SP has had so much to do that she hasn't really been able to deal with the crisis so Applejack and Rarity agree to help.
However, they come up empty in getting volunteers so Rarity and Applejack agree to help with the rest of the work. When they see what has to be fixed, it's a bit overwhelming but Rarity and Applejack assure they can handle it. Things prove to be more than Applejack figured as she's getting too tired to even properly work. Making matters worse, some of the ponies in the play arrive for the dress rehersal but the stage hasn't been repaired yet and Applejack gets them off in time before it collapses. Back inside, the duo discuss what to do next before Applejack decides they should do what they can not what they can't.
Applejack builds a stage so the rehersal can begin. When it does begin, ponies slowly start gathering to watch and by the time it's over, night has begun and the crowd loves it. CP can't take all the credit as AJ and Rarity also helped and they share their contributions, which they consider fairly minor. Later that night, two of the ponies from the play approach Rarity and Applejack to express how amazed they are with the play and how a small deed brought everyone together.

With much work still to be done, Rarity and Applejack figure those two will find something small to contribute and they won't be alone. Rarity and AJ's cutie marks signal the end of their mission and Rarity has it all figured out. She buys AJ a new hat and explains that had Twilight come and used magic to deal with the state of the environment, the real problem regarding the community wouldn't have been solved. The duo agree to go home but not before Rarity prevents another fashion disaster.
