Episode 95	Gloom and Bloom	Aired: April 18 2015
Inside their clubhouse, the Apple Bloom calls their latest meeting with roll call but since they're all there, they move on to a letter Apple Bloom got from Babs Seed, whom got her Cutie Mark but they struggle to figure out how the Cutie Mark relates to her. Worse still, she won't be a Cutie Mark Crusader anymore. Sweetie Belle keeps the spirit high by assuring Apple Bloom of her pending Apple Cutie Mark until Scootaloo ruins the moment by listing negatively and leaves Apple Bloom trembling with fear. That night, Apple Bloom relays her story to Applejack as she's tucked into bed and has way too many questions to be answered in one night so Applejack sings her to sleep. The next morning, Apple Bloom is feeling much better and learns of her newly acquired Cutie Mark but neither of them know what it means so an old pony shows his own and brings them up to date. Outside, the old pony explains about the terror of Twitter Mites but AB is having trouble understanding. Nevertheless, AB prove her Cutie Mark's worth and passes the old pony's test. In spite that she doesn't want to do the job the rest of her life, the old pony is long gone and now she's stuck with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, whom only make things worse. Her anger gets the better of her and she tosses the capsule of TMs to the ground, causing it to fracture and release the TMs she's caught. By the time she realizes that DT and SS may be right, she's not in the same world anymore and a voice suggests she get rid of the mark if she doesn't want it. AB requests its removal and becomes markless once more. By the time she gets out, the town is a mess with the Twitter Mites running wild and she prepares to capture them but doesn't have the skills necessary anymore and ends up getting multiple rounds of electrical shock instead, Applejack arrives to order her away but AB is determined to stop them and can only watch as the barn is fried to a crisp. A final strike from the mites wakes her up and she goes downstairs to repeat the previous nightmare's events only with a different Cutie Mark but runs off before she's ordered to do her chores. She breaks the news to Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo but it's bittersweet because she's the only one of them that has a Cutie Mark and thus is no longer a member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Worse still, she's not allowed to be there and can't be their friend anymore. Once again, she ends up in the other world and gets her mark removed. In the next nightmare, she finds herself fixing up the clubhouse but her friends already have their Cutie Marks and are in no mood to play or even chat. As before, she ends up back in her bed. She heads downstairs to find that not only has her family basically disowned her but her Cutie Mark isn't even apple-related. She ends up on the floor coiled up in her blanket at sunrise. Fed up with the constant nightmare loop, she heads to the mirror but while it seems like she has no Cutie Mark, she discovers different Cutie Marks every time she turns herself. She's had enough and returns to the other world to scold the voice. The voice only did what Apple Bloom wanted and is willing to help out if Apple Bloom has a problem with her family, revealing that it has glowing orange eyes and mouth.  She runs away but a different voice notes that one can't run from their shadow and shows that the very thing she's running from is her own shadow. Why doesn't Apple Bloom just wake up? Perhaps she's so caught in it that she feels trapped and Luna takes her to discuss the matter. A Cutie Mark is what makes a pony who they are and if they can't accept that, they may remain in a nightmare forever. AB can't believe how simple the explanation is but learns that her friends are also having similar nightmares. It's time for the nightmares to end and Luna brings the Crusaders together before Apple Bloom and the others decide not to continue having nightmares until their Cutie Marks appear. Once they have their Cutie Marks, they'll fit as a team and decide to help Babs out with a care package. First things first though and the group decide to wake up for real. AB does so and is relieved to find no Cutie Mark on her hip. Downstairs, AJ is making pancakes and the duo recite the lullaby from the night before. AB heads to the table, wishing that sleeping wasn't so exhausting and has a pancake.
