Episode 106 Rarity Investigates Aired:
September 19 2015
We find Rarity still at her boutique and sharing her latest outfit designs to Sassy Saddles' delight. Rarity puts the finishing touches on another outfit when Rainbow Dash enters and causes a mess. Things get straightend out as Rarity is going to the dinner that night and Rainbow Dash heads out. Rarity's order then comes in but it's not quite what she ordered and successfully convinces the him to retry. With the dinner hours away, Rarity needs an outfit and enlists SS to help.

At the dinner, things are running smoothly and Rarity encounters a celebrity named Wind Rider she's unfamiliar with and RD has to fill her in. Similarly, two of the Wonderbolts arrive to note Rainbow Dash's potential at beating the Mustang Marathon record but RD insists she isn't quite there yet. Feeling that training tomorrow won't be the excitment she desires, Rarity suggests she come and RD can bring others along but RD's hug leaves Rarity's outfit less than clean but Rarity came prepared and makes a quick outfit change.
As the dinner draws to a close, Rarity, RD and Spitfire go their separate ways. The next morning, one of the Wonderbolts informs Rainbow Dash of news regarding Spitfire and her mom and has to take her place. RD is too excited to stop but eventually gets into the practice runs. However, Spitfire's mom arrives, leaving Rarity to wonder what's really going on. Worse still, RD is accused of taking Spitfire out of the race but maintains she didn't do it.
Now RD has to prove she didn't do it while two other Wonderbolts try to find Spitfire herself and bring her back. RD has no idea how to clear her name so Rarity appears ready to help. However, Rarity finds herself constantly being distracted so RD interrogates three guards that end up leading RD to believe she did the crime. Rarity changes her approach and decides to sweet talk the guards. When that doesn't work, Rarity gets info from the guards regarding the cake they recieved and they go to talk to the baker that gave them the cake.
The baker describes the pony that came in and things still point to RD so Rarity talks fashion to RD's disgust. Only one option remains and Rarity knew RD wouldn't like it so they head to Spitfire's house where Rarity explains how she came that Wind Rider was the culprit, including the smoking gun of the chocolate stain on his scarf. It was all to preserve his world record.
Spitfire had been sent to find the Ice Iris to deal with WR's fake pegacitis illness and it's nearly impossible to find. With no time to lose, RD bolts to get Spitfire. Just when things look grim, RD returns with a tired out Spitfire before making amends with Rarity, whom explains why she never said what she was doing. She just couldn't be sure of things until she found the chocolate stain on the scarf. Spitfire offers RD to take WR's place in the race and RD accepts as WR is stripped of his status and escorted out. As the race goes on, Rarity inadvertantly shares info with Spitfire's mom.
