Episode 50	MMMystery on the Friendship Express	Aired: April 7 2012
Inside Sugar Cube Corner, Pinkie Pie marvels at the cake but Applejack wants them to hurry due to the cake's weight that Big Macintosh has on him. However, getting it to the train proves to be difficult and Pinkie Pie gets help from her friends. They arrive in front of the train but they need a different way to get it aboard and Mr Cake is taking the situation the least well.  With a bit of help from Big Mac, the cake gets on board and the group discuss it and the trip to Canterlot for the competition. Speaking of competition, one by one, they enter with their own treats (a griffon as a contestant I might add). Their arguing is cut short when the train's whistle blows and the train lurches forward. Twilight suggests a good night's sleep and most of them agree except Pinkie Pie decides to guard the cake herself. Later that night, multiple shadows move by her and she cannot find the source for any of them. Try as she might, she cannot keep an eye on the cake for too much longer and falls asleep. She awakens to relief that the cake is safe but Twilight shows her the truth. The only way to figure out what happened is to investigate and Pinkie Pie takes role as chief investigator, which Applejack doesn't approve (neither do I, given Pinkie Pie's antics, which is probably why AJ doesn't approve either). She claims to already know who did it but each story she conjures up is torn apart by Twilight's logic. They enter a tunnel only to have the mystery deepen as the other treats are sabotaged. Twilight and Pinkie Pie switch roles and slowly begin to piece the mystery together. They bring the rest of the passengers into the room and Twilight explains. Since that's only 1 of the 3 desserts, Pinkie Pie suggests to keep searching and the duo switch roles again. This time, Pinkie Pie finds clues in all three bakers. The bakers admit to their crimes but now have no desserts for the contest, giving Pinkie Pie an idea. As the contest unfolds, Pinkie Pie 's new creation (and lesson) are unraveled. Twilight offers a bite and Pinkie Pie naturally takes up the offer.
