Episode 51	A Canterlot Wedding (Part 1)	Aired: April 21 2012
We find the ponies having a picnic and Spike is heading towards them and delivers a letter regarding not only the upcoming wedding but the tasks at hand yet Twilight hasn't a clue who is getting married until Spike hands them the invitation that explains the marriage of Princess Cadence (not using her full name here) and....her brother? (Would've been nice to mention you even HAD a brother, Twilight but the others don't seem to even question not hearing about it sooner) Twilight isn't happy about the news since her own brother didn't tell her about it and has no idea whom Princes Cadence is. SA and Twilight have been so close that Twilight has dubbed his brother a "B.B.B.F.F." (and I'll admit, I didn't quite know what that meant). She explains in one of my favorite songs of the finale.  SA does seem like a nice guy and the group minus Twilight get excited. They travel by train (and I have to agree with Rainbow Dash that a Sonic Rainboom would make for the best wedding ever, despite how few weddings I've seen in my life) where the discussion of the events continues and Twilight fears that once the marriage begins, she won't be seeing SA anymore. They arrive in a strange magical force field protecting Canterlot. Twilight isn't thrilled about congratulating her brother and gives him a piece of her mind when she arrives, learning of a threat against Canterlot and about SA's bride Cadence. Memories return to Twilight's head of her days when Cadence fillysat her. Almost on cue, Cadence appears but recalls nothing about Twilight and simply walks past her. Things are getting a bit suspicious as Cadence shows just how unkind she's becoming and Twilight is starting to like Cadence less and less. Her suspicions are confirmed when Cadence takes a few treats to go.....in the trash can without anyone else noticing. She takes her frustration to Rarity, whom is focused on the dressmaking when Cadence arrives once more, pretty much disliking all the dresses in the room before visiting Pinkie Pie and dropping off another rude remark on her way out but Pinkie Pie takes it as a compliment. Later that night, with Luna taking her usual nighttime duty above, only Twilight doesn't think Cadence is good for Shining Armor. Her friends think otherwise but Twilight storms out after hitting the table so hard the glass is knocked over. She visits SA, wanting to talk but Cadence interrupts and does the talking instead while Twilight gazes from behind the door. She concludes she's more than rude but evil and darts off before SA can get a word in. Twilight arrives back at the castle to find her friends in new dresses and still sharing no doubts of Cadence. With no one really noticing, she heads off, doubting herself. Rehearsal of the wedding is taking place when Twilight does enter, stating what she's been saying beforehand and after Cadence runs away in tears, SA provides a different explanation. The group heads off, leaving Twilight with plenty to think about. However, Cadence returns and dishes out a different kind of punishment to her!
