Episode 18	The Show Stoppers	Aired: March 4 2011
Somewhere near Applejack's farm, Applejack is taking the CMCs and shows them their new clubhouse but it's seriously in need of repairs. The CMCs aren't happy as Applejack says it was her house when she was their age and they venture up to the top. Apple Bloom can't understand how they're supposed to make this their clubhouse and Applejack figures they'll get their cutie marks this way as she leans up on a clubhouse wall that gives way. A little later, Scootaloo finishes up a map and literally scoots away on her scooter, blowing past Granny Smith, who isn't happy for being spun around and basically treating her path like  a video game as she hops over mud and both ducks and jumps over tree branches before arriving at the clubhouse in a style that impresses AB. Scootaloo is equally impressed with the work AB did on the clubhouse as it now looks brand new and wonders what Sweetie Belle is up to. They find her thanks to her totally awesome voice (well it beats the one she had in Core 7 that's for sure) as she sings part of their new theme song. Inside their clubhouse, they all learn the lyrics to the new song but Applejack, who pops up to see how everything is going cringes at some of the singing but brushes that aside to tell them what a good job they did on the clubhouse. She heads off to make sure no apple goes unpicked while the CMCs head off to find their cutie marks using their map but one by one, they head to each of the locations on the map but none of them get their cutie marks at any of them (even with the slip-up at what I think is Sugarcube Corner Sweet Shop). Their journey ends at Twilight's house as Twilight and Cheerilee enter to see a mess on the floor. Twilight says the CMCs are going at it the wrong way and should instead try areas they like. Cheerilee shows them a poster for the talent show and after another brief detour in areas they aren't good at, they are back on track and borrow supplies from other ponies, including a very upset Rarity. They return back at the clubhouse to discuss who gets what part for their show and when it's been decided, they go outside to practice but things aren't going too well but they discover why from each others' conclusions. They head back up to practice and Applejack stops by again and cringes once more. The CMCs come out, satisfied with their routine and AJ nervously starts backs away but is caught and admits to seeing them practice. The CMCs take her following silence as a means that their act was a job well done. At the talent show, Snips and Snails (the two ponies whose names I couldn't make out but seem to have confirmed based on what others have called them) perform a magic act that goes awry when the carrots aren't under the hat but in Snails' mouth. The two of them duck behind the curtain. Next up is Sunny Daze and Peachy Pie (two recolored G3 Ponies I might add) with their performance of a poem while wearing roller-skates and they skate past the CMCs now in costume. Twilight arrives, anxious to hear Sweetie Belle sing but is disappointed to hear what acts each of the CMCs is actually performing respectively as Cheerilee announces that they're up next and they begin their performance to a speechless crowd but things begin go go wrong as AB gets her hoof caught in the scenery while the others are falling over in their act. Sweetie Belle manages to hold the scenery up long enough to finish their song until the set comes crashing down. When they lift up their broken set props, they are disappointed to hear the crowd laughing and walk offstage but are told to get back on stage as Cheerilee explains that it's time for the awards and reminds them to be good sports. The CMCs hide behind the other contestants and move down the line as the winners are announced but are shocked when they win the award for best comedy act. They look to see if their cutie marks appeared but no such luck. Twilight congratulates them on winning and is interested to hear what they say about why their marks aren't there yet until they mention comedy. They then rush over to Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity waiting off to the stage's left as Twilight says one day they'll get it.
