Episode 9	Bridle Gossip	Aired: December 10 2010
Outside, Twilight remarks on how nice the day is, figuring everyone else will be out enjoying the sunshine but there's no one outside. Spike tries to come up with an explanation but none seem to be the right one in Twilight's mind. Spike shudders that it's possible for the explanation to be zombie ponies but Pinkie Pie urges them inside, where she and the others are hiding from a mysterious animal with some type of clothing over virtually her entire body as she digs in the ground, then briefly looks back at those in the house. Apple Bloom asks Twilight if she saw Zecora (not sure on the spelling) but is scolded by Applejack not to mention the name. Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy describe her as spooky, sinister and mysterious respectively. Twilight looks back out the window and the others quickly crowd around to see the animal's head become exposed. The others gasp but are told by Twilight that the animal is a zebra, whose stripes are what it was born with. Applejack has never seen a pony here but is corrected by Twilight that it is a zebra, then says that it lives in the Everfree Forest. Rarity faints over the ordeal, then Pinkie Pie gives a song about what she claims Zecora does. Twilight asks what exactly Zecora does, giving sarcastic responses when she gets her answers. Next she gives possible explanations to why Zecora is really here with Apple Bloom giving her input as well, only to be told to let the big ponies talk. In her mind, Apple Bloom is a big pony and she walks away and out the door, feeling brave enough to find out for herself while the others discuss the matter. Twilight finds them all being ridiculous until Applejack wonders where Apple Bloom went. They head out as Twilight orders Spike to stay in case Apple Bloom returns. Speaking of AB, she's still following but the others find her as Zecora warns them of the blue plant they just walked into. Who knows what kind of curse Zecora could have put on her but Twilight says there's no such thing as curses but RD questions how Twilight is magical as well but Twilight explains that her magic is real whereas curse magic is simply smoke and mirrors, fake magic. The others have left and Applejack leaves, saying that Twilight will learn that some pony tales are cursed. Later that night, Twilight sleeps, practically having nightmares of what her friends said and and about Zecora. The next morning, she awakens to a bad hair day but straightens it out, only to find that her horn is different but none of her books have a cure. Spike suggests the green book he holds but Twilight finds it to be bogus. One by one, the others enter, each with a different problem, all except for Fluttershy but she DOES have a problem, she just doesn't mention what it is right away and when she does, Spike bursts out laughing, giving each of them a nickname except for Twilight, whom he cannot come up with a nickname for. RD suggests they go to Zecora's place and Applejack agrees. Spike decides to stay home again to find the cure, or rather find a nickname for Twilight, which he does while the others search for the now missing Apple Bloom and Applejack, whom are in the Everfree forest as AB drops off AJ, saying she's the big sister now. AJ gets a ride from Rainbow Dash as she crashes into the branch and is converted into a real horse. They reach Zecora's place, where Zecora's words and actions convince Twilight that she's bad. RD enters with AJ, whom lasso's Zecora's ear while RD destroys parts of Zecora's things and knocks over Zecora's potion. Zecora warns them that they'll make her anger explode. (She should've seen Fluttershy with that dragon back in "Dragonshy". Now THAT was anger.) Apple Bloom returns, trying to explain what's really going on, as is Zecora but it takes Twilight to explain it completely, at least with the reason why they're all sick. Zecora explains the rest of what the other items are in her house and why she spoke in a strange language.  Twilight discovers that the cure was in the book that Spike suggested but she was too afraid to look inside. Zecora says she'd love to make another potion for their bath but needs an urb from Ponyville. When they arrive, other Ponyville'ers dart back into their houses, remembering what Pinkie Pie had said or other rumors they heard. Twilight knocks on Daisy's door, wanting to talk and reads aloud her previously written letter to Celestia as she and the others get cured from their illnesses. Pinkie Pie talks about how much she loves talking and after Fluttershy agrees in her normal voice, they all have a good laugh but where's Applejack? She's down below in her own bucket, claiming to not be small anymore (but she sure does look small).
