My Little Pony Tales Episode 7 Summary

Episode 7: The Masquerade

At school, Ms Hackney instructs the ponies not to look at their tests until all of them are handed back. Bon Bon whispers to Melody that they must've failed or done poorly on the test. When given the okay to flip over, everyone is amazed at their score and Ms Hackney announces there will be a masquerade party tonight as a reward. She invites them to come dressed up as what they want to be when they grow up. Patch is more interested in making a paper airplane out of her test, much to Ms Hackney's disappointment. Even Patch will one day grow up and when he does he wants to be a circus clown.
After school, the ponies discuss their future careers and what they'll dress up as. Bright-Eyes can't figure out what costume an environmentalist would wear and Starlight invites them in for a free ice cream sundae. Bon Bon announces she has to run home and at home says the rest of the gang wouldn't understand what her career was going to be: a world famous model. She sings about it (and I must point out that I like Melody in her outfit shown during the song.) When the song finishes, Bon Bon realizes she'd look silly if she went to the party dressed as she is.
Her mother hears a noise and asks what the matter is. Bon Bon tells her that everyone will laugh at her but her mother says she's beautiful and replaces Bon Bon's current outfit with a different hat. (For the record, a model wouldn't need to wear much anyway). She instructs Bon Bon to get ready while she herself gets the cookies for the party. At the party, everyone is cosplaying their careers. Starlight announces Melody and her band and they play. Bon Bon arrives, mentioning that they're late but her mother says the cookies took longer than she thought.
Patch is on camera briefly as one of the adults mentions that Patch can watch them on his TV. Patch screws up her juggling act and everyone laughs at her but as Bon Bon enters, she thinks everyone is laughing at her and she races out, passing Teddy, who asks if the party is over but ignores him. She insists she can't go back to the party and ponders whether to get new friends. Back at the party, Bon Bon's mother asks around if anyone has seen Bon Bon but none of them have, except Teddy but he could careless if she's in the forest. Everyone races off to find Bon Bon in the camera pony's van.
Bon Bon continues running as the gang call out from inside the van, saying it's them but Bon Bon keeps running until she reaches a cliff with her friends down below. Her friends try to coerce her to come down but Bon Bon protests what she had heard as she entered the party. The camera pony proves it was Patch they were talking about and laughing at. Bon Bon, now convinced says she's coming down and does so almost without a choice. Starlight and Lancer race off and manage to catch her with a rope noose but Bon Bon slips down off the cliff, dangling in the rope noose. Starlight and Lancer lower Bon Bon into the arms of her friends and they decide to go back to the party, where Bon Bon shows off her fashion model costume.
