So it is Rewritten Season 1 (Page 2)

Below are stories of G3 Ponyville residents taking part in stories similar to FiM stories in an attempt to fix the latter's poor way of telling stories.

O' Star Catcher, O' Star Catcher

*At the Cotton Candy Café...*

"I can't believe it's almost here again," said Triple Treat.

"Yes and we have a lot to do as always," agreed Cotton Candy.

"We need to think of what this year's tree topper will be like this year," added Twinkle Twirl.

"It has to be better than last year's butterscotch and strawberry candy cane. Yuck!" remarked Pinkie Pie.

"That was indeed a bad one and we were in a bit of a rush because we'd forgotten to stay on schedule and picked two random flavors off the shelves," admitted Triple Treat.

"What about chocolate and caramel?" asked Skywishes.

"Yummm but what about maple syrup and cherries?" asked Minty.

"Way too messy and also yuck," remarked Pinkie Pie.

"I've got it, rainbowberries and chocolate," concluded Sweetberry.

"What a great idea, Sweetberry. I'll get on it right away. I just want you to figure out how it should look," agreed Cotton Candy.

"You got it, Cotton Candy," confirmed Sweetberry.

"I'll help," added Triple Treat. *Later that day...*

"Tomorrow's a busy day. Let's get some sleep," requested Pinkie Pie before she and the others head back to their houses. *The next day....*

"I'm way too excited to think straight. Tomorrow's Christmas," said Minty excitedly.

"Absolutely and that means today we have to get everything decorated and of course top our tree," nodded Pinkie Pie.

"Is the candy cane done yet?" asked Minty.

"We just have to decorate it, but the candy cane itself is ready," replied Cotton Candy.

"You know what to do, everyone. Let's get decorating," declared Pinkie Pie before everyone races off. *That night...*

      "Finished at last," confirmed Sweetberry.

"It smells delightful. It may be our best one yet," agreed Triple Treat.

"Let's get it up on the tree," suggested Cotton Candy.

      "Allow me," recommended Star Catcher.

"Of course, Star Catcher. We can't do this on our own," accepted Cotton Candy before handing over the candy cane. *Star Catcher and others help lift the candy cane into place.*

"Consider it done," announced Star Catcher. *Everyone cheers.*

"What's this note?" asked Pinkie Pie. *Star Catcher reads the note.*

"Oh my! Seems Santa's sleigh cannot fly and he'll need someone to fly him over to Ponyville this year. Since we can fly naturally, we'll do it," explained Star Catcher.

"Good luck, you guys," stated Pinkie Pie.

"We'll be back soon," assured Island Delight before the group heads off.

"Nothing more we can do. Time to get sleep," concluded Pinkie Pie before she and the others head back into their houses. *At the North Pole...*

      "Ready Santa?" asked Star Catcher.

"Ready! Ho, ho ho!" confirmed Santa before they took off. *The next morning...*

"Star Catcher did it! It's a Christmas miracle! shouted Pinkie Pie.

"Santa left us all gifts too. Let's dig in!" declared Minty.

No Surprise

*At Rainbow Dash's house...*

"Okay, dahlings. We're gonna have a great deal of fun with the appreciation day. We must not tell Sparkleworks it's for her. I need you all to quietly get invitations out as quickly as possible. This has to be done just right," requested Rainbow Dash.

"I'll deliver them," assured Love Wishes.

"Be careful, Love Wishes. These letters are all decked out with glitter and we don't want them getting ruined," warned Rainbow Dash.

"I'll be extra careful," said Love Wishes before taking the invitations. *Later that day...*

      "Hi, Minty," stated Sparkleworks.

"Sparkleworks. So good to see you. What's going on?" said Minty awkwardly.

"Are you feeling okay?" asked Sparkleworks.

"I'm just fine but I gotta go," replied Minty before racing off.

"What's gotten into her?" questioned Sparkleworks. *That evening...*

"It's almost time, dahlings. Have the invitations been delivered?" told Rainbow Dash.

"All delivered and the ponies in question have gotten them," confirmed Love Wishes.

"Now all we have to do is wait," assured Rainbow Dash. *Hours later...*

      "Where is Sparkleworks?" asked Skywishes.

"She wouldn't have known about the event because no one told her," explained Minty.

"We need to bring her out without telling her what it is," suggested Rainbow Dash.

"I hope nothing is wrong with her," remarked Skywishes as she and others race to Sparkleworks' house. *At Sparkleworks' house...*

"Hi, everyone. What're you all doing here at this hour?" asked Sparkleworks.

"We must show you something, dahling. Follow us," requested Rainbow Dash. *Sparkleworks follows the others.* *At the Celebration Castle...*

"Here we are, dahling. Wait right here," stated Rainbow Dash.

      "For what?" asked Sparkleworks.

"You'll see, dahling," replied Rainbow Dash before heading inside.

"It must be pretty exciting," pondered Sparkleworks. *The others race out.*

"We love you Sparkleworks!" shouted everyone together.

"What is all this?" questioned Sparkleworks.

"We thought about showing some appreciation for you so we opted for a special day in your honor. You name it and we all do it," explained Skywishes.

"You didn't have to do all that," protested Sparkleworks.

"You provided us the fireworks the other day. We felt we had to do something in return," said Rainbow Dash.

"Yeah. That was such a fun slumber party and the fireworks were a nice bonus too," agreed Pinkie Pie.

"What a gracious host you were too," added Minty.

"Thanks so much, everyone but can't this wait until morning? I’m pretty tired right now," requested Sparkleworks.

"Of course, Sparkleworks. We'll bring you all the fun tomorrow," agreed Pinkie Pie before she and the others head off.

"What great friends I have to do all this for me," thought Sparkleworks.

Whistle Worries

*At the Sweet Shop...*

"These look delicious. I can't decide what to get," said Triple Treat.

"Why not all of them?" asked Minty.

"Minty, Minty Minty. We don't have enough money for all of them. We'll just have to pick some to take home," replied Pinkie Pie.

"What about that one?" asked Thistle Whistle quietly.

"This one looks great," remarked Skywishes.

"I agree, Skywishes. What next?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"How about some of the cookies?" suggested Minty.

"Here's the candy," noted Thistle Whistle quietly.

"Let's get some of the cookies," agreed Applejack.

"One last item," confirmed Pinkie Pie.

"Of course, the rainbow cake," pointed Rainbow Dash.

"We can't get the whole thing. We'll get a few slices and then we can share them. Three slices of rainbow cake, six cookies and some of the brownies, please," requested Pinkie Pie.

"Coming right up," replied Chocolate Delight before getting started.

"Wasn't there another pony saying something?" asked Minty.

"I don't think so," replied Pinkie Pie.

"I thought I heard something. I can't be sure," added Twinkle Twirl.

      "Me too," agreed Desert Rose.

"There isn't anyone else in here is there?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"Wait a minute, there is! It's Thistle Whistle. What are you doing here, Thistle?" reacted Minty.

"I was trying to decide with you guys but I guess I wasn't loud enough and you all ignored me," cried Thistle Whistle.

"We didn't mean to ignore you, Thistle. Why didn't you speak up?" asked Skywishes.

"I saw you all having such fun deciding that I didn't see a reason to add my own views that would've probably spoiled your fun," explained Thistle Whistle.

"Thistle Whistle, we listen to everyone's views. You should speak up if you want to be heard. We'd have been glad to take your choice into account. Too make it up to you, you can have 1 item from what we bought. Okay?" assured Pinkie Pie.

      "Really?" asked Thistle Whistle.

"Absolutely. Now let's go home and pick out what treat we want for later," agreed Pinkie Pie. *At the Cotton Candy Café....*

"So Thistle, what're you gonna eat?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"This one looks best. It wasn't what I suggested but it's probably just as good," whistled Thistle Whistle.

"I've got a slice of rainbow cake," confirmed Minty.

"Some candy for me," added Sparkleworks.

"I'll also have some rainbow cake," stated Pinkie Pie.

"Save some for us, okay?" protested Sweetberry.

"We wouldn't leave you or Cotton Candy out," assured Twinkle Twirl.

      "Come pick something," requested Skywishes.

"Don't mind if we do," confirmed Cotton Candy before she and Sweetberry head over.

Back in Time

*At Storybelle's Story Loft....*

"Hello there. You're just in time for a story. I just need to find my dragonfly Gossomer so we can get started. I wonder where he is. Gossomer? Where are you?" Oh there you are. Can you find the book on our friends' first ever meeting? It's called Back in Time and you'll find it under B. Thank you, Gossomer. Now, the story begins many years ago. All the ponies lived in separate houses, but had no idea any of the other ponies were there, or how many there were," began Storybelle.

"The rain has led to a wonderful rainbow. Of course, it's much better to have someone with you when you see one. I wonder where I'll find another pony that loves rainbows," remarked Rainbow Dash. *Meanwhile...*

"This party hasn't gone very well. It's no fun to have a party by yourself. I need friends to share it with," stated Pinkie Pie. *At Sunny Daze's house...*

"What a workout. It's hard work being this flexible. Too bad there seems to be no one else in town to play with. I need time off once in a while," admitted Sunny Daze. *At Skywishes' house...*

"Catch a kite, and you catch a wish," shouted Skywishes before racing after the kite. *At Rainbow Dash's house...*

"Where'd she come from? She sure seems happy about something. I wonder what that might be?" questioned Rainbow Dash. *At Sunny Daze's house...*

"I was wrong. There is someone here besides me. I should go meet them," reacted Sunny Daze before heading outside. *The others head outside and run into each other.*

      "You okay?" asked Skywishes.

"I think so. Huh? Who said that?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"I did, My name is Starbeam," replied Starbeam.

"I'm Pinkie Pie. Where are the others going?" added Pinkie Pie.

"I'm not sure but that other pony is chasing a kite. I'm not sure why," answered Starbeam.

"Let's go find out," suggested Pinkie Pie before the duo followed. *At a tree...*

"Gotcha!" declared Skywishes excitedly as she grabbed the kite.

"Hi. Is that what you were after? Why were you chasing it?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"Pony legends say if you catch a kite while it's in the air, you get a wish," explained Skywishes.

"Wow, really? That sounds so cool. You must be really good at catching them," remarked Pinkie Pie.

"Nah. I got lucky. That's all," corrected Skywishes.

"So what're you gonna wish for?" asked Minty.

"I wished for friends and it looks like my wish came true," answered Skywishes.

"Wow! Really? That sounds so cool," admitted Pinkie Pie.

"I'd sure love to have that happen to me," giggled Minty.

"Anyone know of a place to eat? I’m kinda hungry," asked Rainbow Dash.

"I've found a place called the Cotton Candy Café. Let's go there," suggested Skywishes.

"Lead the way, Skywishes," requested Pinkie Pie. *Back at Storybelle's Story Loft....*

"Now you can rest assured knowing exactly how our pony friends managed to find each other as well as the various places they know and love. I just love a happy ending," finished Storybelle.

Ill Literacy

*At the Twist 'N Style Petal Parlor...*

"What'll the 'do be today?" asked Daffidazy.

"The usual, please, Daffy," replied Pinkie Pie before she and the others head over to the salon stations.

"Right away, Pinkie. So, anyone have any news?" replied Daffidazy.

"It's been pretty ordinary this time around, remarked Pinkie Pie.

"Yeah. I kinda wish something would happen, well besides us getting new hairdos," agreed Minty.

"Just the same old same old," added Twinkle Twirl as everyone's hair was being done.

"Yup, pretty boring," echoed Thistle Whistle.

"All done. How do you all like them?" continued Daffidazy.

"You always know how to do the best do," giggled Minty.

"It's what I do best," smiled Daffidazy.

"See you later, Daffy," called Minty as the group headed out. *That night...*

"Huh. I feel kinda funny. I felt fine earlier today when we all got our hair done. Maybe I'm just tired? I'll just go to bed early then," pondered Pinkie Pie before heading to bed. *The next morning....*

      "Morning, Pinkie," said Sparkleworks.

"Morning, Sparkleworks. Up for a day at the café?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"Definitely. I want to try their new Mint Rainbow Delight," agreed Sparkleworks.

"Which way is the café?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"You know where it is, Pinkie. It's this way," protested Minty.

"Which way? I can't seem to make anything out," questioned Pinkie Pie.

"Pinkie, is something wrong?" asked Twinkle Twirl.

"When I said I wanted something to happen, I didn't mean this," admitted Minty.

"I think I came down with something. I can't read a thing," explained Pinkie Pie.

"How did that happen?" asked Minty.

"All I know is I can't read anything," repeated Pinkie Pie.

"We'll get the doctor. Stay right there," said Skywishes. *An hour later...*

"Here she is, doctor," noted Twinkle Twirl.

"So you can't read at all. Have you always been this way?" questioned the doctor.

"No. I was fine yesterday," replied Pinkie Pie.

"It must be the Illiteracy Flu. It's a flu where you can't read for 24 hours. Take this medicine tonight. It'll take time to work its magic, but as long as you do not try to read anything, you should be fine tomorrow," explained the doctor.

"The Illiteracy Flu? Oh dear. That's no good at all. We should get her to bed then," remarked Minty.

"A good idea. She needs to get rest to have the best chance of recovery," agreed the doctor.  *At Pinkie Pie's house....*

"Get well soon, Pinkie," said Desert Rose before she and the others leave. *The next morning...*

"Well here goes nothing. Let me find a book. The Great Rainbow Race. I can read again," said Pinkie Pie. *She heads off excitedly.*

"She must be back to normal," concluded Minty.

"It's true, Minty. I am back to normal," echoed Pinkie Pie excitedly.

Lights, Camera, Reaction!

*At Sparkleworks' house...*

"What to do? What to do? There has to be something in here for my friends and I to do today. Aha! These costumes will be nice. We could put on a play," stated Sparkleworks. *Later that day...*

"A play? Wow! That sounds like so much fun. What kind of play are we going to do?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"Well come see what I have and we can go from there," requested Sparkleworks before she and the others race to Sparkleworks' house.

"You have a lot of stuff, Sparkleworks. It's gonna be hard to choose," giggled Minty.

"It was mostly stuff from when I was younger. It was too big for me back then, but should be fine now," recalled Sparkleworks.

"Looks like wild west stuff," remarked Pinkie Pie.

"Ponyville ain't big enough for the two of us," giggled Minty.

"Howdy, partner," added Pinkie Pie. *Minty puts on a costume.*

"How do I look?" asked Minty.

"Very silly, but perfect for the show," answered Pinkie Pie. *Everyone else searches for costumes.* *The next day....*

"Everyone, I'm pleased to present Ponyville's first ever Wild West show," announced Pinkie Pie before the others cheered and the curtain rose.

"Hold it, cowpony Mint, I'm takin' you out!" called Twinkle Twirl.

"You'll have to go through my motionless self first," replied Minty.

"Quiet, you two! The sheriff is watching from afar. We'd best stay hush," warned Skywishes.

      "I'mma stayin' put," protested Minty.

"Ponyville is big enough for the two of us. Oops! I mean it ain't big enough for the two of us," giggled Pinkie Pie.

"What'cha gonna do 'bout it, cowpony Pie?" questioned Minty.

"We're gonna have ourselves a showdown," answered Pinkie Pie.

      "Draw your weapons," requested Minty.

"Okay," replied Pinkie Pie before getting to work.

"No, I mean the ones that are dangerous and stuff," corrected Minty.

"We don't have any of those, Minty. Remember? This is all pretend," whispered Pinkie Pie.

      "Sorry," whispered Minty in return.

"It's okay," assured Pinkie Pie quietly.

"Now draw your weapon, cowpony Pie," ordered Minty.

"Right here, cowpony Mint. Now where's yours? answered Pinkie Pie.

"Yur lookin' straight at it. It's on ma head," replied Minty.

"Then let's get the show on the road. I reckon you'll go down first," taunted Pinkie Pie.

"Naw, I reckon you will," countered Minty. *Both ponies approach and put on their best attack before falling over.*

"Thanks for coming, everyone. Hope you enjoyed our show," finished Pinkie Pie. *The crowd stands up and cheers.*

"It's hard work doing this kind of thing," remarked Twinkle Twirl.

"At least we did it with all our friends," added Pinkie Pie.

Through the Lens

*At Fluttershy's house...*

"Smile and say cheese," requested Fluttershy to the others.

"Cheese," replied the others before their photo was taken.

"Okay, now for a silly one," continued Fluttershy.

"This ought to be a good one," giggled Minty.

"Let's see your best goofy faces," requested Fluttershy.

"I can't even get my own goofy face with how everyone else's are," remarked Pinkie Pie.

"Concentrate, everyone. That's it. Good," replied Fluttershy before taking their photo again.

"How long until they're developed, Fluttershy?" asked Minty.

"Should be a few days. There's some good ones from what you guys did. Thanks for coming together," answered Fluttershy.

"It was great fun," added Pinkie Pie. *Later that week...*

"They're here at last. Let's see how they came out," said Minty excitedly. *She opens the envelope.*

"Here's our goofy photo," giggled Minty.

"Wait a minute. There's something wrong here. These don't look like the photos we took the other day. I think a mistake was made," protested Pinkie Pie.

"Fluttershy, can you have a look at these? I think they're not our photos," requested Pinkie Pie. *Fluttershy takes the photos and looks at them.*

"You're right, Pinkie. They're not our photos. They look to be changed from what we originally had. We'd better take them back to the store they came from," agreed Fluttershy. *At the Perfect Photos store...*

"We'd like to have a refund on our photos. They didn't come out, right," requested Pinkie Pie.

"Sorry. We don't do refunds. Our photos are given on a non-returnable basis. You'll have to leave," declined the clerk.

"These aren't even the original photos, dahling. I don't think you get to take our money away when you didn't give us back the same photos we gave you," protested Rainbow Dash.

"It's in our policy. Tough luck," sneered the clerk.

"Let's go, guys. It's clear they don't want to do anything about them," suggested Pinkie Pie. *That night...*

"What a mean thing to do. I hope they aren't all like that," remarked Minty.

"It does make me reconsider doing this again in the future. I may just get a more modern camera," agreed Fluttershy.

"That's a good idea. Then we don't need to worry about them getting developed," replied Pinkie Pie. *Everyone else shook their heads.*

"We'll just have to find a way to get the money. We spent what we had on those photos and they got ruined," noted Kimono.

"They could've been so lovely," sighed Wysteria.

"I'll work at the Cotton Candy Café for a while and make the money that way," assured Fluttershy.

"I'm sure Sweetberry and Cotton Candy won't mind your company," figured Pinkie Pie.

Rose to Oppose

*At Desert Rose's house...*

"You're cordially invited to attend the annual Rose Festival at the address below. You may not bring anyone else. We've analyzed your skills from afar and want you to make us special roses for all of our upcoming events. Signed, Mayor of the Rose Festival. The Rose Festival sounds like fun but I'm not cut out for that. I don't even know how to make roses. Wysteria might," said Desert Rose before racing off. *At Wysteria's house...*

"Make roses? That does sound wonderful, but I don't know if you're the right pony for that. Perhaps it's a mistake?" questioned Wysteria.

"I know. That's how I feel too but if I go, I'm not allowed to take anyone there," protested Desert Rose.

"After the Flower Convention proved to be much more of a con-vention than a convention, I'm not sure it's a good idea to go," warned Wysteria.

"I don't know if this is even a good opportunity," added Desert. Rose.

"Who's the letter from?" asked Desert Rose.

"Just the mayor of the Rose Festival," answered Desert Rose.

"That seems rather strange. No name to associate them with?" pondered Wysteria.

"Let's go see Kimono and Pinkie Pie," suggested Desert Rose.

"They would be more likely to solve this," agreed Wysteria before she and Desert Rose race off.

"Let me get this straight. You got a letter from the mayor of the Rose Festival that wants you to make roses for them for future events?" recalled Pinkie Pie.

"That's exactly right, Pinkie. What should I do?" replied Desert Rose.

"I say don't go, especially since you can't take anyone else. Seems like a way to trap you without your friends," advised Kimono.

"I'm with Kimono on this one, Desert. It just sounds fishy," agreed Pinkie Pie.

"I'll just write back to tell them I can't do it then," figured Desert Rose.

"Wait a minute. What's that on the bottom?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"It's really hard to read. Must be the fine print. I don't have glasses so I can't read it," stated Desert Rose.

"I have reading glasses. Allow me. PS, any attempt to refuse will be denied. Guess you don't have a choice," added Kimono.

"They can't make you go. It's just a letter," remarked Pinkie Pie.

"Yeah. What's a piece of paper gonna do about it?" questioned Minty. *Several figures appear before them.*

"I don’t want to go without my friends. How do I know you're a true group of individuals?" protested Desert Rose.

"Hey! You can't take her. She never signed anything," stated Minty.

"Yeah, there wasn't anywhere in that letter where she could sign. Look. I'm not sure what you want with her but she's not the right pony for this. Even if we have the right pony here, they likely wouldn't want to go. You're trying to make her do something she has no skill in doing and that's not right," added Pinkie Pie.

"Perhaps we were mistaken," said the 3rd pony before the trio disappears.

"That was a close one. I don't think any of us could've worked there by force," admitted Pinkie Pie.

"Even I couldn't, and I love flowers," agreed Wysteria.

"That sure was a thorny position to be in," giggled Desert Rose.

One Trick Pony

*At the Cotton Candy Café...*

"Great sundae, Cotton Candy. What's the recipe?" remarked Minty.

"Sweetberry is actually the one that made it," corrected Cotton Candy.

"It's my Rainbowberry Sundae and it's made from lots of rainbowberries, whipped cream, cherries, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and bits of candy cane," explained Sweetberry.

"It was really good. I'll have to try making it myself," admitted Pinkie Pie.

"She always makes the best treats," added Minty.

      "It's my specialty," stated Sweetberry.

"Any of you feel you just have one talent?" asked Pinkie Pie.

      "Huh?" asked Minty.

"You know how I love parties and Sweetberry makes sweets and you enjoy anything green?" asked Pinkie Pie.

      "Yeah," replied Minty.

"Well don't ya feel like there needs to be something else?" questioned Pinkie Pie.

      "Like what?" asked Minty.

"I don't know. Just something else to add to what you do," pondered Pinkie Pie.

"We're all good at throwing parties and of course, that ties in with other things already," noted Cotton Candy.

"You and I learned to sing though, remember?" recalled Skywishes.

"How could I forget? We were awful for a while, no offense," reminded Pinkie Pie.

"Yeah. We really got on each other's nerves until we got more practice," agreed Skywishes.

"It worked out, though because we brought the Pegasai to Ponyville and had a party with them," added Pinkie Pie.

"It was the biggest sundae the two of us ever made, perhaps even too big," admitted Cotton Candy.

"I still can't help thinking I need something else as a talent," repeated Pinkie Pie.

"What would you want to try?" asked Minty.

"I'm just not sure on that, Minty. I guess anything is possible to try. I just don't know the one that will help me out," replied Pinkie Pie.

"We could create a list of things for you to try," suggested Minty.

"That'd be great, Minty. All we need is some paper and a pencil," remarked Pinkie Pie.

      "And an idea," added Minty.

"Why not surfing?" suggested Cotton Candy.

"That could be fun but I don't have a bathing suit," answered Pinkie Pie.

"You could learn to bake foods. That relates to parties even more," said Sweetberry.

"I suppose I could but the last time I tried to make something, even with everyone's help it wasn't anywhere near good," recalled Pinkie Pie.

"Maybe you should stick with what works?" questioned Skywishes.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Partying is what I love and what I do, and what I love to do," confirmed Pinkie Pie.

"We're still happy for you even if you don't have a whole lot of talent," assured Desert Rose.

      "Thanks, everyone," said Pinkie Pie.

Not a Trance

*At Twinkle Twirl's house...*

"These dance moves will be great for next week," remarked Twinkle Twirl.
"They look kinda complicated," noted Pinkie Pie.

"It just takes practice. You'll see," assured Twinkle Twirl.

"We could always hypnotize them," suggested Minty.

"Minty, you know that stuff isn't real, right?" questioned Pinkie Pie.

"Nuh-uh! I've seen this stuff on TV. It always works. They get you to fall asleep using a watch or some kind of necklace. Then the pony falls asleep and the other pony gets them to do silly things," protested Minty.

"Minty, that stuff is only on TV and in movies. It doesn't really work," replied Pinkie Pie.

"I have a whole book on it. There's a list of things we can try to prove it works," insisted Minty.

"Well if we were to try it on someone, it can't be Kimono. She'd be too smart to fall for that," stated Pinkie Pie.

"Why not you, then, Pinkie?" suggested Minty.

"Me? Oh no. I don't believe in that stuff. It wouldn't really work," answered Pinkie Pie.

"Won't know until we try," winked Minty.

"Okay. If you say so, Minty. Let's just get this over with," sighed Pinkie Pie. *Minty gets out a pocket watch.*

"You are getting sleepy. You are very sleepy. You will fall asleep very shortly," began Minty as she swung the pocket watch.

      "Not really," protested Pinkie Pie.

"Let me check the book. In order to get someone to fall asleep, the object must be swung in front of the other individual and they must follow it for an extended period of time," read Minty.

"This could be a long day," remarked Skywishes.

"Aha! You are getting sleepy. That means it's working," concluded Minty.

"No. It's just that this isn't very exciting. We haven't proven anything yet," corrected Pinkie Pie.

"We will. Now watch my watch. It will put you to sleep.......NOW!" declared Minty.

"Nope, still awake," yawned Pinkie Pie.

"I don't get it. I did everything the book said. What am I doing wrong?" questioned Minty.

"It's like I said before, Minty. It's all pretend. No one actually can be made to do something that way. The other pony has to do it on their own. Get it?" repeated Pinkie Pie.

"You mean it really doesn't work? I thought I had something fun to do but now it looks like it's a bust," said Minty sadly.

"We can still pretend to do it but we have to remember it's only pretend," assured Pinkie Pie.

"Yeah. I'll volunteer to do it instead of Pinkie Pie," agreed Skywishes.

"You will? Great! Let's get started right away," said Minty excitedly.

"Here we go again," giggled Pinkie Pie.

"They'll be there a while," added Desert Rose.

"At least they're having fun together," giggled Pinkie Pie.

Noise Maker

*Outside Celebration Castle...*

"Your turn, Sunny," said Minty. *Sunny Daze throws the rock and hops on the squares.*

"Good throw, Sunny Daze," remarked Pinkie Pie.

"She' really good at hopscotch," said Minty.

"Balance has something to do with it," giggled Sunny Daze.

"It just takes practice, Minty," assured Pinkie Pie.

"Yeah. Here, you take a turn, Minty," agreed Desert Rose.

"Okay. Here I go," announced Minty nervously before tossing the rock.

"Wow! You landed on 10, Minty! Way to go!," shouted Pinkie Pie excitedly.

"I did? Whoa. I didn't see that coming. Must've been beginner's luck," giggled Minty before finishing her turn.

"Maybe a little. We all have to start somewhere, Mint," said Sunny Daze.

"I guess you're right," stated Minty. *A jet flies overhead and makes a loud nose.*

"What was that noise?" asked Desert Rose.

"And that thing making the noise," added Minty.

"It's going awfully fast," remarked Pinkie Pie.

"Let's see if we can follow it," suggested Skywishes.

"I don't know. I don't think we can catch it," concluded Minty.

"We won't know until we try. Let's go," replied Pinkie Pie before all race off. *Later that day...*

"Have we caught up to it yet?" panted Minty.

"Not yet but I think we're making progress," replied Pinkie Pie.

"It looks like it's getting bigger," said Desert Rose.

"I don't think it's getting bigger. We're just getting closer to it," corrected Pinkie Pie.

"It's heading for that place," noted Twinkle Twirl.

"It's got wheels underneath," stated Desert Rose.

"And it makes wind too," agreed Pinkie Pie as she and the others are blown over.

"What is this place?" asked Twinkle Twirl.

"I guess it helps whatever that thing is. We'd better go. It doesn't look safe," figured Pinkie Pie. *Back in Ponyville...*

"We still don't know what that thing is," said Skywishes.

"We can just call it a metal bird. It looked like a bird made of metal. I don't know if we'll ever get to see how it all works or even ride in one but it was pretty loud either way," explained Pinkie Pie.

"That's for sure. I'm not sure I want to hear it again anyway," agreed Minty.

"I don't think I'd enjoy being in one," said Coconut Cream.

"It might be fun," said Desert Rose.

"It didn't look very pretty though," remarked Sparkleworks.

"It needed a rainbow at least," agreed Rainbow Dash.

"Now a rainbow bird I might fly in," realized Minty.

"Might be something to think about for the future," replied Pinkie Pie.

"I like our hot air balloons more," said Twinkle Twirl.

"Me too, even though I can't fly them very well," agreed Minty.

"One thing's for sure. These metal birds sure have something special," thought Pinkie Pie.

Mostly Funny

*At the Cotton Candy Café....*

"Yes, it's going to be a very nice day today. Highs in the upper 70s so enjoy that beautiful weather today because rain is moving in tonight," said the weatherpony.

"Let's go outside and play," suggested Pinkie Pie. *Everyone races outside before it begins to rain.*

"Wait a minute. This isn't what that pony said. He said it would be sunny," protested Cotton Candy.

"Guess he got it wrong this time," figured Minty.

"Oh well. We can play outside later. Maybe the rain will be done by then,"  concluded Pinkie Pie before everyone heads back inside. *Later that day....*

"Pack those jackets, my friends. It's gonna be chilly today. Highs are only going to be in the low 40s. Don't expect a quick warm-up either," stated the weatherpony. *Everyone gets on their jackets and heads outside.*

"Maybe it'll even snow," hoped Minty.

"I don't think so, Mint. It's not even cloudy out, or even cold," replied Pinkie Pie. *Everyone took off their jackets.*

"Something's not right here. That's two times that pony was wrong. They must not be very good at their job," remarked Sunny Daze.

"Could just be an off day too," noted Pinkie Pie.

"I guess you're right, Pinkie," said Sunny Daze before everyone headed back inside. *The next day...*

"A hot and sticky one is just around the corner so find the shade and stay out of the sun," urged the weatherpony.

"I don't think we should head out for this one. It's probably wrong," advised Skywishes.

"Yeah. They haven't been right at all," agreed Minty.

"We can take a brief look can't we?" asked Desert Rose.

"Maybe a tiny peek but I doubt it'll prove anything other than we're not getting that weather," pondered Pinkie Pie. *The ponies open the door and peek out.*

"It's warm but not hot. I don't get it. What's going on here?" questioned Minty.

" I don't think we can trust that pony's word. We've never needed a weatherpony before. Why start now?" answered Pinkie Pie.

"Is there anything else on TV?" asked Desert Rose.

"Let's see," replied Pinkie Pie before flipping through channels.

"Doesn't look like it. I guess we're stuck with the wrong weatherpony," concluded Minty. *Pinkie Pie turns off the TV.*

      "So now what?" asked Skywishes.

"We can go out and play then and not worry what the weatherpony says," suggested Pinkie Pie.

"We can go fly our kites," added Cotton Candy.

"I love that idea, Cotton Candy. Let's do it," remarked Pinkie Pie. *Everyone runs off to grab their kites.*

"Now this is a good way to spend the day," confirmed Minty.

"You said it. That pony meant well I'm sure but I don't think he was good at what he was doing. We're doing just fine on our own," agreed Pinkie Pie.

"We'll weather the weather whatever it may be," thought Star Catcher.

Knit Wit

*At Sew-and-So's house...*

"You wanted to see me, Rainbow Dash?" questioned Sew-and-So.

"Yes, dahling. Would it trouble you to make me a rainbow kite? I don't really have many rainbowy things in my house that I can use outside. Plus my friends could also make use of it as well," requested Rainbow Dash.

"I'd be happy to," replied Sew-and-So. I'll have it ready by the end of the day. *Later that day...*

"Wonder what's got Sew-and-So so upset," pondered Pinkie Pie.

"I'm not sure, dahlings. I requested her to make a kite that I could use and share but it seems something happened after I left," explained Rainbow Dash.

"Well let's go see what's troubling her," suggested Pinkie Pie before she and the others race over.

"Sew-and-So? Are you in here?" asked Minty.

      "Hello?" called Pinkie Pie.

"It's us, dahling," added Rainbow Dash.

"All I can hear is crying," noted Minty.

"Me too. Sew-and-So must feel pretty bad," agreed Pinkie Pie.

"There you are, Sew-and-So. What's the matter?" questioned Skywishes.

"I've lost the needle and thread I was using to make Rainbow Dash's kite," sobbed Sew-and-So.

"Don't worry. We'll find it. Where did you last leave it?" replied Pinkie Pie.

"I last left it on the table but it's not there anymore," answered Sew-and-So between sobbing. *Minty looks under the table*

"It's not the....OW!.....table," assured Minty. *Pinkie Pie checks under the chair.*

"Not here either. It couldn't just get up and walk, or roll, away," concluded Pinkie Pie.

"We'll need to split up," suggested Skywishes.

"Good idea, Skywishes. We'll split up into teams of two and each look in a different room," replied Pinkie Pie. *The ponies choose their team members and rooms.*

"I can't believe this has happened. I made a promise," sobbed Sew-and-So. *Later that day...*

"Anyone find the needle or the thread?" asked Pinkie Pie.

      "Nope," replied the others.

"This is terrible. I'm sorry Rainbow Dash. I don't think I'll be able to finish your kite after all. I got about halfway done when I lost the needle and thread," recalled Sew-and-So.

"Wait a minute. We didn't check under the chair cushion. Maybe the needle is there. OW! Yep, I found the needle alright and it found my hoof," stated Pinkie Pie.

"Now we just need the thread," said Minty. *The others look in the room.*

"Dahlings, is this it?" asked Rainbow Dash holding up something round.

"Dunno. What is it?" answered Pinkie Pie.

"Oh that's where I left the thread. Somehow it must've rolled off my lap and under the couch. No wonder I didn't find it. It was so small that it was able to fit in such a small space. I'll be ready with your kite tomorrow, Rainbow," realized Sew-and-So.

"It'll be worth the wait, dahling," replied Rainbow Dash.

"Being a detective is hard work. Glad it worked out in the end," giggled Minty.
