On Butterfly Island, Skywishes and Star Catcher start a game of leap frog, then SC disappears but when she reappears, she takes Skywishes to another spot and the two of them talk about their friends meeting each other. SC says that her friends are nice but very shy so she'll need a little bit of time. Skywishes decides for a party to bring them together and mentions all the fun things they could do. SC adds that Pegasus Ponies love ice cream so Skywishes agrees to include it. SC shows Skywishes a Pegasus Promise (though despite having no idea what this is, Skywishes does it right on the first go without looking). Back home, Skywishes tells her friends about the Pegasus Ponies but no one believes her, at least at first. They always have a good time at a Ponyville party. Uh-oh! It's hard to tell but at around 3:40 into the movie Twinkle Twirl somehow gets two additional legs at her side in the right image! Sweetberry and Cotton Candy agree to do ice cream, Pinkie Pie agrees to help Skywishes write a song and Bowtie with Apple Spice agree to help Twinkle Twirl with a dance. The latter of the two pairings at least have a start. Back on BI, Star Catcher announces to her friends about the party on Ponyville but her friends aren't too sure about the idea until after Star Catcher helps them out, all but one as Thistle Whistle doesn't want to go at all. Meanwhile, Cotton Candy, Triple Treat and Sweetberry all cannot decide on what to make for the party. Triple Treat says that maybe they can make an extremely tall sundae (literally making one herself that could not possibly stand the way it is in reality) Once again at Butterfly Island, Star Catcher asks to have Coconut Grove and Island Delight to see if they can get the remaining ponies and themselves to come to the party while Star Catcher herself is returning to Ponyville to see Skywishes again. At Ponyville, Sparkleworks manages to add just what Wysteria's baskets needed. Twinkle Twirl, Skywishes and their group are both still working on their tasks with neither one ready to go. Star Catcher arrives and catches Pinkie Pie as she falls off her ladder. Pinkie Pie now sees that it's true that Pegasus Ponies exist. SC explains that her friends are shy and need time (is there an echo in here because that's what she told Skywishes before Skywishes left to tell about the party) and hopes they'll be there. Up in the sky, Coconut Grove asks if any of them are going and one by one, they join her side, all but Thistle Whistle who protests that none of them have been to Ponyville. With that, everyone else returns to TW's side. Coconut Grove explains that she and Island Delight made a Pegasus Promise, which is never broken so she decides to go through herself and when she returns, she loves it and all but Thistle Whistle go through until she sees the giant ice cream cone and changes her mind. They all literally look head first but TW wants to go back, thinking they should get some sleep and everyone else yawns as Coconut Grove figures they should see it in the morning. The next day, the party is being put together. Twinkle Twirl's group seems to have perfected or nearly perfected their dance but Pinkie Pie and Skywishes still haven't finished or perfected their song. Skywishes' singing scares away the Pegasus Ponies hiding in the trees so the two of them race off to catch them but they realize they won't be able to catch them on foot so they race to get the balloon from the castle. Back at the Cotton Candy Cafe, their giant sundae is finished....almost.....they need the cherry on top and Star Catcher, wondering where her friends are, flies straight through the sundae and is requested to put the final topping on and willingly does so. The butterflies tell Star Catcher about the problem so SC decides to bring the party to the Pegasai. Stuck on top of a palm tree, Pinkie Pie thought Skywishes knew how to fly the balloon but all she needs to do is figure out how to land with the landing gear using the manual, neither of which they have. The "balloon train" has taken off but uh-oh! At 15:36 into the movie, Pinkie Pie and Skywishes are in another balloon when they're currently stuck in their OWN balloon at 15:10 into the movie!Coconut Grove thinks they're stuck and Island Delight thinks they might want to ask them but Thistle Whistle isn't liking that idea but when she sees the strings for the balloon snap, she realizes they'd better help out. Skywishes and Pinkie Pie, having just lost two of the strings for their balloon, fall out of the balloon's basket and Skywishes manages to temporarily grab hold of a palm tree leaf before falling into another leaf stretched out by Coconut Grove, Thistle Whistle, and Island Delight and put safely back on the ground. Pinkie Pie decides to show them that she and Skywishes are here to be friends in song and very slowly, the pegasai trio venture out from behind the bushes. (Alright, how is it that Pinkie Pie and Skywishes now sing better when just a few minutes ago or from any point after they start practicing, neither one had good singing at all?) In any case, the party arrives, with a bit of trouble with the sundae as the cherry lands on Star Catcher's head as she and her friends struggle to stabilize the ice cream tower. While a couple of ponies dive into the sundae, Star Catcher says it's great to make a new friend everyday and she introduces Skywishes to (Baby) Honolulu. BH says aloha to Skywishes and Star Catcher, then sees the mound of ice cream and plows into it, sliding down the tower but is caught and saved by Skywishes. They proceed to tell the others but instead continue the conga line started by Twinkle Twirl's group.
