Outside, several of the ponies are drawing their cake designs and when Pinkie Pie sees them, she approves and suggests showing them to Sweetie Belle, whom hasn't been able to come up with a good idea. With that, they head off to Sweetie-Belle's sweet shop and find her with little more than batter in a bowl after being up all night. The group shows their cake designs to Sweetie Belle but ignore her advice to follow directions when baking and just start putting in random ingredients. Once it's finished baking, the treat flies out and lands on the floor where Sweetie-Belle becomes first to see if it's any good. It's not entirely bad by Sweetie-Belle's standards so the others dig in but find it's nowhere near as good as they envisioned. With the lesson learned, the group get started on a new cake but can't help snacking on the ingriedients. Eventually the cake is done and much better but they've had their fill of ingredients and can't have another bite so they agree to have the actual party with it tomorrow and converge for the group photo.
