Episode 6 The Tea Party Aired:
August 7, 1992
Two ponies are walking around what looks to be a run-down old house. Bon Bon takes out one of the cookies she has with her but Sweetheart reminds her that they're for their tea party. Bon Bon assures Sweetheart that she baked plenty. Inside, Bright-Eyes suggests electricity so they could make hot tea and Patch is working on that. Bon Bon wants a drop of cream and Clover give Bon Bon a literal drop and gives her the entire cup full.

Starlight breaks their attention and announces their discussion of whether or not they should allow boys in.  No one but Bright-Eyes, who quickly changes all of the others' minds with her statement, agrees with this. The gang then sings about their opinions of boys, then decide that after school they vote. Bright-Eyes and Patch see what they think is a robbery and go back to their clubhouse. Clover shows her accidental sense of humor to everyone else but Patch reminds them it's no laughing matter. What can they do, they're little ponies.

(Well Sweetheart, so were the "robbers".) Starlight says what they can't do and makes a statement that temporarily wears her out. Patch shows how to make slingshots then tells Sweetheart and Bon Bon to make the others. Oops, Sweetheart hits Bon Bon with the slingshot but it's Bon Bon with Sweetheart's voice that apologizes. The gang spend the next few minutes getting the traps set and hide. The "robbers" do return and find that the doorknob pops off, there's honey on the floor (I can't recall honey EVER being white), a slippery substance on the stairs, and jam is being thrown at their faces.
By this point, it appears as the group is more of a family as there are different voices and heights for each one. The mother chases after Melody, then is spooked by a picture that Melody and Clover illuminated with a flashlight. After taking a few more jam surprises, the trio surrender. Patch orders a ceasefire, then ends up sliding in their own mess. The family explains that they're the Barringtons and are moving in next week, this will be their house. When the tales gang tell the family about their secret clubhouse, the family sees a problem and the tales gang decide to help spruce up the house.

Everyone gets setup for a picture and the mother asks if Sweetheart would like to babysit their newborn Posey, which she agrees to. The father says something's ready but the gang isn't sure what until they are told it's their new clubhouse. The mother says she makes a good honey tea, which Starlight allows her to do but due to it being a private club, she isn't allowed in and the mother understands.
Logan, the brother, asks if he can join and the ponies have their first meeting in their new clubhouse. Sweetheart says Logan should come in since he saved her life. Patch reminds her it was only paint but to Sweetheart it's the same difference (meaning essentially "whatever"). Starlight calls Logan inside and they welcome him in. Does Logan want to say anything? He sure does and its "Send the scones over here" to which there's a silence and he adds "Please", which is followed by giggling and he has a few scones, thanking the gang for them.
