Episode 45 The Revolt of Paradise Estate (Part 1) Aired:
November 14, 1986
Inside Paradise Estate, Paradise is reading to Baby Cuddles and Cuddles their version of Jack and the Beanstalk but Paradise is showing that she's too into it as bits of the ceiling are coming down, not to mentiion Cherries Jubilee isn't happy about it. Paradise was supposed to be fixing the place up but agrees to get on it as Baby Cuddles goes for her nap. However, things are off to a bad start as Paradise's repairs are coming apart in front of her eyes and Sweet Stuff arrives thinking she caused the mess.
They cannot even get a shade to remain oiled or the roof to look brand new so Paradise and Sweet Stuff head off for better tools. Along the way, a mysterious robed ghoul appears with exactly what they're looking for. However, the ghoul offers them paint, claiming it'll solve all their problems. It's not easy for them to accept right away but eventually they give in with a free sample. Nevertheless, Paradise is scolded when she and Sweet Stuff return but shows that the paint does exactly as claimed as the paint fixes cracks in the walls and the shutters outside the window. Witht hat, the ponies use a song to get to work.
However, the Estate is showing signs it's much more alive than ever before as a door, a light fixture and a grandfather clock show a face and sing along, leaving the others in shock and disbelief. The furnature finishes the song but the ponies are at a loss for words until the record player gets Posey and Sweet Stuff to speak up. Posey gets additional help outside thanks to the fence, watering can and faucet. Meanwhile, Baby Cuddles shows how much she loves her baby carriage, even when it comes to life and sings her to sleep.
In the kitchen, Cupcake finds things aren't as pleasant as the pot and spoon have a bit more agression regarding their tasks at hand. Worse still, Cherries Jubilee is being overworked by the talking weights. Paradise is first to see even more aggression from a floorboard she steps on and now the other furniture are planning an act of revenge. In fact, Posey gets a taste of it outside from the very same friendly watering can and fence, whom want to get rid of her for being in the way. Furthermore a rake and a shovel have the last word and boot her out of her own yard. Back in the kitchen, the furnature is getting more aggrivated, leaving Cupcake on the brink of a nervous breakdown.
Luckily, Paradise gets her out and now Cherries Jubilee breaks away from the equally aggressive weights. However, the other weights refuse to let her out through the door so Paradise saves her with another window. The furnature is closing in and chasing the ponies before one by one the ponies get out. Back in the nursery, the carriage continues singing Baby Cuddles to sleep but Paradise takes her out against her protest. Only Baby Lickety Split and Baby Ribbon remain but they're promptly booted out too. It's too much for Sweet Stuff and Cherries Jubilee as they break to tears over the loss of Paradise Estate.
