Episode 11 The Ghost of Paradise Estate (Part 1) Aired:
September 29, 1986
The ponies are busy painting a nursery when a yellow pony painting on the ceiling, revealed as Baby Lofty crashes into one of those things babies typically have over their crib. Luckily she isn't hurt and realizes she's not good at flying but the painting is done and they can head to Paradise Estate to clean up and sleep. That night, the window is left open and a breeze is moving through but as Baby Heart Throb sleeps, a phantom hand messes with her sheets and reveals itself as a ghost.

It scares her enough to head for cover, then try to warn Baby Sundance and Baby Lofty but they brush it off so she heads off to get Megan. Meanwhile, the two non-believers see what Baby Heart Throb was warning off and dart off while the ghost terrorizes the others and becomes a bat. Baby Sundance tries her best to stay brave and initiates a pillow fight against the bat. The bat ghost proves immune to the fight but Megan and Molly arrive to see only the aftermath of a pillow fight. Upset that they dragged her out at midnight for a seemingly unimportant matter, Megan shruggs off their claims and shuts the window.
The baby ponies refuse to sleep alone so Megan offers Molly to sleep with them and Molly agrees as long as they don't fool around anymore. Baby Gusty (obviously as you can see she has the same colors as Gusty) and a blue pony revealed as Baby Cuddles still can't sleep so Megan sings as song to prove that ghosts don't exist. It's enough to get the ponies to sleep but the window is opened again later on and the ghost comes out to terrorize Molly.
Once again, the ponies rush to tell Megan the news with Molly joining them. This time, Danny is up too and neither he nor Megan believe it but agree to search the entire estate to prove it for sure. They open a door and Spike spooks them but learns it's not as funny as he thinks and walks out in regret. In spite of not believing in ghosts, Danny has an idea and gets a trap set up. Spike doesn't fully get it until Wind Whistler (whom seems to have a different voice) and Danny break down the trap.

However, Spike ends up inadvetantly activating the trap by demonstrating how it works. Danny and a few others find the ordeal rather funny (and it's never shown whether Spike is released though I presume he was). Another blue pony finds a mirror and her own reflection spooks her for a second. She moves into a hallway where seemingly another reflection is there (though this is an error because not only is it not a mirror but it's Gusty on the other side of the doorway).

They set up another trap but Spike unwittingly activates the bucket of water over the door. Worse still, the ponies are extra jumpy and little things end up scaring them (and the sheet changes colors too)Just when Molly is about to give up, Megan and Danny see that indeed the ghost exists and are just as frightened.
