Episode 103 Amending Fences Aired:
July 4 2015
Inside Twilight's castle, Spike has just finished the dishes, which he finds the worst part about being princess of Equestria. Twilight just needed some relaxing time after the string of events that came up. However, Spike notes that although Twilight gets praise for being such a good friend, she wasn't always that way and gets Twilight to realize her Canterlot friends didn't get the same treatment back in Episode 1.

Worse still, Twilight can't even remember who they are and decides to go to Canterlot to find them again, leaving Spike to regret ever opening his mouth. That night, the duo arrive and Twilight decides to start where it all began, the old Canterlot castle but once inside, she finds everything is exactly as it was that day and a total mess like her friendships. She'll just have to make it up to the five friends. The next morning, Twilight wakes Spike to share her overnight research's results and they head off to find Minuette (or Colgate if you prefer).
Despite Twilight's fears, Minuette comes out happy as ever, and gets a picture with Twilight. Once that's complete, the trio agree to see Lemon Hearts and Twinkle Shine, giving Twilight the chance to make things right with the three of them at once. At Donut Joe's shop, the group is having a great time and catch up on the news. Twilight breaks the joy to apologize but the trio just laugh as they never took it personally and expected Twilight to do so.
They agree to visit the Science Lab from when they were younger and recall one of those times. As a result, Twilight brings up Moondancer, another friend of theirs that they'd forgotten until now and decide to go see if she's where they recall she went. They find what appears to be her location and Twilight knocks on the fragile door only to get Moondancer's lack of appreciation in return, realizing that it's exactly how Twilight was back in her early days.
'The group follow her over the next few days but learn that no one interacts with Moondancer at all. Minuette brings up the party but Twilight has no memory of it and we get reminded of the events of that episode, leaving Twilight to realize that she never went in the first place. The others had tried to invite Moondancer after that but Moondancer was always too busy studying. She never realized how important the party was and decides to head to the library to make it up to her. However, try as she might, Moondancer is not interested.
When nothing works, Twilight jumps into Moondancer's book to explain what happened. Since it doesn't answer how Twilight got into the book, Twilight shares that info outside before taking her to where her initial home was. She also gives Moondancer the key to her library provided Moondancer has dinner tonight. Moondancer isn't interested as she's tried friendships before and didn't work out but is willing to go if Twilight teaches her Haycard's Methods.
However, Moondancer is constantly cutting their conversation short as she knows about it and ends up leaving the party. Twilight tries to get her to try friendship again but Moondancer is convinced that it won't work now either and Twilight walks away, knowing she's messed up big time and tries to imagine how things must've gone at the party from her early days. Now she needs a way to undo the damage and decides to call on Pinkie Pie for help.
The duo arrive the next day and Twilight learns how close Pinkie Pie and Minuette are. It's time to put their plan into action and we find Moondancer coming out of the library to find a trail of books leading away. When she gets to the last book, she finds the party all ready to go. However, she's not interested, and only ends up running away for the hurt Twilight gave her by not showing up. Pinkie Pie puts another plan into action by using Spike while Twilight and her old friends come to comfort her and request to be friends again.
Furthermore, Spike has brought the librarian, the bookseller and her own sister to the party. Even with everything Twilight has been through, seeing how she treated Moondancer tops them all and it moves Moondancer to tears and a hug before the party begins. When it's all over, Moondancer thanks Twilight for getting their friendship back before Spike hands her the gift he meant to give those years ago and we see it hung inside (presumably) her house while she and the others play outside.
