Episode 31	Sisterhooves Social	Aired: November 5 2011
Inside her boutique, we find Rarity talking in her sleep until the smell of smoke awakens her and she darts in to the kitchen only to find that it's only Sweetie-Belle, whom scolds that she wanted to make breakfast in bed as a surprise. Rarity proceeds to get angry at Sweetie-Belle but is stopped by her father at the table, whom explains that Sweetie-Belle made their breakfast by herself. Her mother's words put Rarity on edge as she realizes that her parents are vacationing here. While Sweetie-Belle goes to get something, Rarity has a semi-awkward conversation with her parents before they leave.  It's time for them to clean-up in the kitchen but Sweetie-Belle reminds Rarity that they haven't eaten so Rarity goes to make something herself, agreeing to let Sweetie-Belle help once she herself has gotten things started. However, Rarity ends up compiling several ingredients and ends up only with eggs (which makes me wonder what all the other stuff was for) so she allows Sweetie-Belle to put the parsley on top. Rarity's coaching of the subject only leaves a mess on the floor and amongst the chaos, the parsley lands on the only untouched plate with eggs on it. After that mess is cleaned up, Rarity asks Sweetie-Belle to take the laundry down and SB agrees. Inside the laundry room, SB spots a sweater and to Rarity's surprise, it's been washed and shrinks in the sun's heat. She orders SB to stay out of trouble, which is quite difficult for her as she cannot seem to sit still. Finally SB gets an idea to draw but when she finds it missing something she takes Rarity's chest of jewelry to spruce it up but Rarity isn't pleased at all, explaining all about the jewels being needed for an outfit. While she goes out to get more jewels, she orders SB to clean up the mess, then not to do anything that creates messes for herself to clean up. SB finds Rarity's sewing area and decides to clean it up but when Rarity returns with more jewels and sees what's been done, she isn't pleased at all and explains that it was her mess in her house and she was just about done but now she'll have to start from scratch. SB walks outside and encounters Apple Bloom, whom has a poster for the Sisterhooves Social in her mouth. The idea is not approved by Rarity and the result ends up being an argument and the two of them declaring not to be sisters anymore and splitting up. Outside, AJ is told about SB's dilemma and AB learns quickly about being uncouth (a word even I've never heard of) by incidentally demonstrating it with a loud belch. Next, she shows the games she and Apple Bloom play with their chores and invites SB to join them and when she does, all she gets is an impaled apple on her horn. Back inside her boutique, Rarity gets an idea for her outfits. Outside again, SB discovers that AB and AJ are making grape juice and when AB drenches AJ in grape juice, she gets a playful noogie to the head. Inside once more, Rarity still cannot believe what SB did to her sweater and finds it a perfect fit on Opal, that is after her ranting allows her to step right on Opal's tail. She discovers a piece of artwork SB made and it's enough to convince her to get her sister back. Outside, the trio has made a campfire and Rarity arrives to try and convince her sister to come back. When that fails, it takes AJ's words to convince Rarity what she needs to do and hopes it isn't too late. At the competition, when they see SB sad, they decide to allow her to be sister for a day. The race begins and at first, AJ and her "sister" fall behind but they catch up quickly and take the lead. However, Berry Punch and her sister are the eventual winners. SB had so much fun and thanks AJ but after a hug, she discovers that it was Rarity that was competing with her and they had switched places at the mud pit (certainly fooled me the first time I watched this ep). Rarity decides a celebration is in order at the Spa but they don't take her seriously. Back at the boutique, Rarity and SB, with a tiny bit of help from Spike, write their letter to Celestia before having a friendly hug.
