If you're going to serve customers, you'll need to be able to talk to them and I can tell you I'm quite the talker when you get me started. Before I became an employee at Belly Buffet, I was enjoying the beverages of my own house. They were sometimes good, sometimes not. I felt I had to do something if I wanted to have a better lifestyle. I opted to learn how to make smoothies. My parents didn't think I had the skills to do it and they were right at first but after many attempts, I got one right. That's when they began supporting me and trusting me for future recipes. I basically went with fruit for most of my smoothies as I found other foods didn't do well with smoothies. They generally ended up a mess. Since working at Belly Buffet, I've had a few customers enjoy my smoothies and it's improved Bonnie's business as a whole with the new menu items.
